Can we believe any Covid numbers

We know the US numbers are overstated, because they exceed the ‘excess deaths’ statistic and because every incentive was there to inflate the numbers. So people with Covid who died because of injuries from a car accident, were likely to be called a Covid death.

But I have long suspected that national pride and political expediency were depressing numbers in countries like Iran. Here’s a good example:

Russia’s official coronavirus death toll is 102,649, a number that supports President Vladimir Putin’s contention that the country has managed the virus better than most. But a Times analysis shows that deaths in Russia last year were 28 percent higher than normal — an increase in mortality greater than in the U.S. and most countries in Europe.

So the Russian numbers are almost certainly much higher than reported and they have been outed, because the Western media hates Russia. Nothing on places like Iran and India though, because they aren’t media pariahs. But what’s a bet, their numbers are even more understated.

Bizarrely, it’s highly likely that our death rates have been overstated ! 

As I told you the CDC says only 6% of deaths were caused by Covid alone. They are wildly overstated.

Take this I just saw:

COVID19 is a 99.4% to 99.8% survival rate virus, the death toll for which a team of researchers in one state found may be inflated by as much as 40%.  

The evidence I posted already is overwhelming. Both infections and deaths are vastly overst ated.

As far as I heard the US had under reported the numbers particularly around the start of the pandemic. I've also read that both the UK and Italy have also under reported the numbers, probably quite a few other countries as well.

I suspect it will take some time after the pandemic is over to have a more accurate idea of the numbers and even then we will probably never truly know.

The ONS now state that deaths here in the UK have been overstated by 23%; that is, people have died with, not from, the disease. This makes a huge difference to the final tally of deaths overall. 

The death ratio ibn the USA was made an election issue by the Democrats - so if a person died  ub a motor accident and was positive he was recorded as dying because if  Covud,   

A very real fact is that hospitals in the USA extra funding  were provided by the central government  and the hospitals saw that as an opening to get extra funding there bankrupt states did not provide, so they inflate the number  of  Covid deaths massively by blaming virtually all deaths on the virus,
