Thats a damn lot more than 250,000 Ukrainians but you will ignore those figures I am sure.
That is the past and as such well known.
Liberals play dumb, their ties to nazism is known for ages.
Ironically, the nazi armies were more diverse than the liberal armies. And ironically treated non aryan soldiers less poorly than liberal armies. Quota soldiers who fought in the nazi armies were less poorly treated than quota people who fought in the US army.
Despite the anti slavic nazi rhetorics, Russians fought under the nazi flag, much less though than the ones who fought under the russian flag. Same can be said for quota people, the US alone fielded more. And the US treated better nazi prisoners than the quota soldiers from the US ranks.
As to Ukraine, that is another story, the split is different. Ukrainian troops were willing participants and showed initiatives. Ukrainians played a decisive part in setting up death camps.
When looking at the motivations of Russians who fought for Nazi Germany, odd ones like a soldier is a soldier and his duty is to fight wars, they moved from being prisoners of war to soldiering for Germany on this ground. Very little adhesion to the nazi ideology reported among them.
Ukrainians, though, that is a different story.
Just as Hilter and his lieutnants were not behind every single German soldier, Nazi Germany was not behind every single Ukrainian.
People did what they did because they adhered to the ideology. They were not ordered.
