I saw some articles where residents of a major number of Counties in the USA want substantial changes of Borders of the states where they are in at present.   The following are examples:-

*  A substantial number of Counties from Oregon want  to  join the State of Idaho

*  A number of Counties in Virginia wants to join West Virginia

*  A number of Counties from California wants to join the state of Nevada

Since the establishment of the present states there have been major changes in states that ultimately stems from influx of  millions of people into essentially the major urban areas in the States mentioned and the new migrants have no contact with the rural people living in small towns in those States and mostly involved  in agriculture finds that their interests are not considered by the State legislature run by the city dwellers when legislation is passed that is detrimental to their economic and cultural interests and has a serious negative impact on them

This is in the cases of the Virginia and Oregon Counties partly the result of political divide - bit in the case of California not the case  since both states are controlled by the DP,

To my own mind this is a negative result of the present toxic political divide in the USA.   It has developed over the last 20 years and both the DP and the RP are to blame for the present scenario - but it is potentially a major problem when there is no common interests between Urban and Rural dwellers the future of the USA is under thread,

In any event there is a process involved hat is clear and  relatively easy to deal with, but the questions  I want to ask are -

*   What do you think about the idea of State border changes;

*   Would it help to solve the present toxic environment in the USA;

*   Whats the Chances of it ever happening

I think Bozo is the expert when it comes to altering US state borders.
He added Alabama to Florida during the hilarious Sharpiegate episode, he has Colorado sharing a bo rder with Mexico and he recently rearranged the Missouri/Kansas border so that Kansas City fell entirely within Kansas.

Or . . . "I are the ou waht kan laaik to tell evryone that Jacob Zuma are a gentleman waht hav a lot of integrity and yet still laaiks to leckture everyone abour pollertishins and pollerticks."

LMAO!

I'm not sure what is funnier . . .

a) ou Maaik - the ex Nat Party municipal worker who jumped ship and joined the ANC while singing the praises of Jacob Zuma - talking about politics or . . .

b) Moffie - the rugby noob who slagged off two time SA Rugby Player of the Year and current World Rugby Player of the Year Pieter-Steph du Toit - talking about rugby.

Not sure who wins that contest but it's comedy gold listening to these two doddering old fools opining so loudly and vociferously on subjects they know so little about . . . while bickering with each other 24/7 about every other subject you can think of.

This Former National Party member that saw the tides were changing and jumped ship to the ANCAt first, it was thought that CleverMike was just an evil NP government official that helped to enforce the bureaucracy of Apartheid.

However it later became clear he helped the ANC overthrow the NP, and he appeared to even be working as a government double agent for sometime...

In the last days of the NP, he had his home phones tap ped under suspicion of collaboration with known terrorists. One such call recorded was a tip-off about a bomb to go off at the government office. ComradeMike showed up 1 hour later after the bomb detonated... Unfortunately, he was excommunicated from the NP government by the terrorist act of the day- and would no longer work in politics until his Comrades got in power...
He was later reinstated to a government role by the ANC who needed people to assist with the hand over of power, for a modest fee of course... It was in the forthcoming years that Zuma and Mike grew their relationship...

Well ou Maaik, apart from the fact that everything I said about Bozo changing US state borders is 100% correct and verifiable, note that I treat your political views about as seriously as I'd treat any other gullible fool and liar.
As long as you continue lying and denying what you said about Jacob Zuma some years ago I have no respect for you and will treat your laughably stupid political views with the contempt they so richly deserve.
I thought I'd made this crystal clear before.

Proof what I said "some years ago" please.  What you wrote is an outright lie - fact.  I have repeatedly said the same thing all the time over and over again.  He is a friendly person, but totally crooked and corrupt - great similarity between Obama and Zuma and they used  the same methods to keep out of jail.

Read the following about the glorious state of Illinois where Clibnton came from and where Obama's political career started:-

Blagojevich was convicted in 2010 on corruption charges and sentenced to 14 years in federal prison, a sentence he has been serving at a federal prison in Littleton, Colo. Trump was considering a commutation for Blagojevich last year, but plans were put on hold amid worries over pushback.

"Many people disagreed with the sentence," Trump told reporters on Tuesday, before turning to two individuals he's bashed during his time in office. "He's a Democrat, he's not a Republican It was a prosecution by the same people, [James] Comey, [Patrick Fitzgerald], the same group."

Blagojevich, who hailed from a state with a long history of pay-to-play schemes, was one of four out of seven consecutive Illinois governors to be sent to prison. His immediate predecessor, George Ryan, was convicted of racketeering for his actions a governor and secretary of state.

Just read the latter paragraph and add  in the names Obama and Clinton as pay-to-play experts personified,

No ou Maaik, you know it's the truth and I know it's the truth but you're so lacking in character that you can't admit it.
I have a very good memory. You responded to a post of mine on the old Supersport board some years ago where I was basically saying that the Zulus had been demanding a Zulu president after two Xhosa presidents and if Jacob Zuma was the best the Zulus could come up with then it's a very sad state of affairs. You responded by saying I was wrong about Zuma, that he was a gentleman with a lot of integrity.
Well guess who got that one horribly wrong?
Deny it all you like and call me a liar if it makes you feel better, but I know what you said and I'm pretty sure you do too . . . but you won't admit it because it demonstrates perfectly just how stupid and gullible you are when it comes to politics and politicians.
So ou Maaik, you go ahead and spew out your uninformed garbage to anyone dumb enough to read your rubbish, but don't expect me to take you seriously as long as you're too cowardly, deceitful and lacking in character to admit your comments about Zuma.

Ou Rudeneck, you say these things about Ou Maaik with the proverbial straight face?...."lack of character"..."cowardly"..."deceitful "???

LMAO... projecting much? You are what you despise...self loathing or self pity...which one is it...or is it both? ...life can be a bitch if you take yourselves too seriously.

Maaik, you probably liked Zuma, waaay back, before he showed his true colours...no shame in that. We all get fooled at times....even Rudeneck...even me...Don't mind Rooi's nitpicking about 12 year old oxen in the ditch of history....he is gradually losing the last bit of integrity he had left....it is what it is...no point in losing sleep over it.

To be linked with Zuma is no better than the Guptas - even if their escapades were more extensive.

Listen Dofdoos - because I met and knew Zuma when serving as a Trustee on the Albert Luthuli  Trust does not mean I was linked to him at all,   I was a Trustee already years before Zuma was invited to become a Trustee.

Didn't you say you were job was terminated by the NP, who put you on pension in your forties?
So you were a Trustee only after the ANC got into power?  The Trustees are usually the people who have access to the funds and donations. Did you invite Zuma to help look after the assets?

Is that a confession? or when you were ex-communicated by the NP?  Who's side were you on? The NP's or the Anc's?

First of all - I never was a National Party Member - so I could not be ex-communicated.   I voted  for the NP in three elections until 1972 and for the DP in the rest before 1994.   I was never on anybody's side.

I was a Public Servant and served the community - not a Political Party and was not a political prostitute - that brought me into conflict with many politicians of all shades.
