I spoke to three of my friends this morning and hge situation seems to be out of control The property owners have formed defense units on Ballito, hakas Rock, Salt Rock and tinley Manor to protect their properties and they closed the entry roads from the N2 into the towns and these groups allow only residents to enter the towns through the road blocks they have created, Apparently in one case about 400 people tried to force there way in and the armed residents warned them by loudspeaker they will shoot to kill if they try to enter.
In Stanger the residets are similarly armed and there is a gaud on every intersection in town - also heavily armed. This happened after two shopping centers in twomn ws looted and nearly destroyed.
The food supply in the towns and especially bread supplies are running out. There is a huge bakery at Shakaskraal .that supply bread to half of Natal and they apparently cannpot operate because of the tense situation in the area.
One person told me that this was and is organized by people to ensure that Zuma is re-elected as President of the ANC and the country at the next ANC Conference in 2022 . It has effectively nothing to do with Zuma's imprisonment - the real object is to capture the country Government. In the meantime the Police is nowhere to be seen when it comes to looting. and riots. Ramaphosa is in a jam - he does not know what is to be done because he is uncertain whether he would survive. the onslaught.
This could lead to a civil war in SA and that would be fatal for all minority groups in the country. . .
