Chicago got a new Mayor

"Ms Lightfoot previously led the city's police accountability task force. The body was set up after the death of a 17-year-old named Laquan McDonald at the hands of a police officer in 2014 and subsequent alleged cover-up.

She also headed the Chicago Police Board, a civilian oversight body that disciplines police officers.

Her final victory came on Wednesday in a run-off vote against Toni Preckwinkle - another African-American woman.

Ms Lightfoot joins a growing rank of record breakers being elected to high-profile mayoral office across the country.

Seven other US cities including Atlanta, New Orleans and San Francisco are now also led by black women.

She will take over office from Mayor Rahm Emanuel, who previously served as chief of staff under former President Barack Obama."

What is going on in the USA?   Apparently the DP is going for broke - their leadership in some cities and even States must be questionable and Chicago is not different.

A women is elected as Mayor without any political experience but seemingly because she is a Lesbian.   

It is known that Chicago has a high crime rate with gangsterism rife and one wonders whether it would improve  under the new Mayor.   It may even become worse with M-13 gangsters finding the city an easier place to operate in.

Chicago is a typically badly run demonrat city. Surprised they didn't elect a pedophile. Hence the Blexit movement - blacks walking away from the demonrat party. Hence a poll showing Trump now polling 50% amongst Hispanics.

The demonrats are sinkng under the weight of their anti American policies and their corruption. Many demonrats will end up in prison and the timing wi ll be perfect. Hahahahahahhaha

By the way - I found another interesting news item.   The problem is apparently considering of the DP to hold their next congress in Miami, but some elements in the DP apparently think it would  be a bad thing. 

They are afraid that selecting a Socialist like Sanders as DP presidential candidate will scare off the Latino's - and especially Cubans and  Venezuelans from voting for the DP.   They a re disliking Socialists - especially since the Socialist Governments caused them to flee their countries of origin. 

They claimed that the DP candidates for Governor and Senate in the 2018 elections lost because they got only 54% of the Latino vote - 45% went to the RP candidates.    Apparently they are particularly worried about the Miami-Dade County, where the Latino vote and the Jewish vote is likely to  go against the DP.

Apparently in the latest countrywide poll the Latino vote is split 50:50 between Trump and any DP nominee.   Even the Vemezuelan vote who previously have gone 80:20  to the DP has gone to Trump.

If that vote is country-wide some states like Colorado and even California would become dicey for the DP.   

And then this guy emerges from nowhere...and his CV reads like ...  

Another gay the DP will find just right to support- I get more and more an idea that the DP is  becoming nut cases in extremis.

The only cases I can see as not an extreme Socialist is Beto O'Rourke - but he is also rather unprincipled and as weak as Biden is.    O'Rourke voted with the RP in 30% of issues - so will that help them in any way,   Biden is just a weakling and will not make it.

Sanders will be suicidal - his pro-communist past I going to kill him in the voting - and  Buttigieg is still waiting to find a Boetie that could screw him.    I do not think the USA is ready for any of the nutcases trying to become the DP candidate as President.          

It looks like total madness has taken control of the whole world. Organized chaos...to what end? Why? What happened to all the normal people?
