The US could do a lot worse than Christie. Given the division in America at the moment, someone like Christie who is moderate could bridge ideologies.
He is from a city, so a modern-day conservative. NJ is a Democratic majority, which I suppose is the case for all/most of the main cities.
He can relate to both sides.
Very, very Democratic - the last election the Democrat Governor lost by 20 000 votes after they counted all votes were counted and then they discovered 40 000 votes that was not counted - so the Governor won by 20 000 votes. The Speaker of the New Jersey House lost his seat - won by an unemployed heavy duty driver who spent $1 500 on his election campaign.
Christie is a candidate in name only and ill not get nay support to be he RP candidate.
In any event you are too stupid to realize that the US voters are sick and tired of the Biden Administration. The total lack of maintenance of law and order in Democrat controlled cities, the living of hundreds of thousands of people on sidewalks caused more than a million residents from cities to flee to other states where the Republicans are in control. Inflation and bribery and corruption is undermining the Government and the open border policy let the Mexican cartels took control and people and drug smuggling through the border is resulting in Biden not wanted to run next year - opinion polls indicated that 61% of the voters do not want him to run.
The problem is that the Democratic Party candidate is not selected by the Party - the Ultra-rich controlling the Party decide who should be the candidate and their media outlets would then brainwashed the voters - normally through lies and deception - to vote for whichever stooge the ultra-rich picked. Before they had him by the shorts they picked Biden in 2020 and that was a mistake. The Ultra-rich controlling the Democratic Party - knew he was corrupt and they knew he would follow their instructions - so he became the Party candidate. The public is not starting to find out the man is an incompetent and corrupt idiot whose decisions are made for him by people like Gates and Soros.
It is clear that the House has the evidence to file impeachment charges against Biden and Garland - so the obstruction of the investigations by the Justic Department and FBI is really all that is delaying the process. The information leading to the issue is bound to have problems for his ultra-Rich bosses and they will drop him like a hot potato soon.
