Bad because independent newscasters rely mainly on big tech to get their stories out and they can be censored at will since they don't have the clout to push back in any meaningful way.

Hopefully alt tech can fill this gap and capitalise on it as well in order to compete at the highest tiers with the likes of Google, FB and Twatter.
