I am sorry - but you do not know how the USA system works.   Once Generals retire from the military they enter the service of Arms Industry  Companies and they serve to promote the industry and in this case the Ukraine War, as well as other wars.  Information on the War by those experts indicates that the Russians are losing the War as a means to promote continuation of the War.    The relevant war information they spread is questionable.

The present Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff has a direct communication link with the Head of the Chinese Army and cannot be trusted to enhance the US armed services - his Woke and COVID Policy implementation is driving volunteers away from the Army.   The chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan set the norm in case of the US Army and it is eident that the Chinese know how the US Armed services are being undermined.   Even the NATO armed services officers realized how poor the US Army leadership and the Biden Administration are  when it comes to War issues and the Chinese attack on Taiwan and South Korea is imminent and likely to happen within the next three years.

In the meantime the Taiwan Government has paid the US $19 billion to provide arms to Taiwan - but the Biden Administration who needs to approve export of the paid for items is sitting on it  and would not grant approval.   They may in the end grant approval, but training in usage and operation of the relevant arms will be delayed totally to the detriment of the Taiwanese Army.
