I mast say I think there are a lot of people that has been influenced by Hollywood's perception of people and in this case the Russians.  I do not think any of the members who are constantly attacking Russia has ever been to Russia and meet Russian People.   

I found the people I met friendly and helpful.    They are highly-cultured and proud of the history of that country and the decisive role of Russia in defeating Napoleon  and Hitler.  Going back in hsitory hey saved Western Europe from becoming part of the Mongol Empire and ultimately changed the history of Europe as a whole.    I do not think that they are essentially cruel people and made massive contributions to art and culture as well as science.   In essence history - after the cruel and oppressive Communist Regime taught them not to take action unless they are themselves under attack.

In this case nobody on site has indicated that they are even aware of the millions of Russians living in an area where their ancestors lived for centuries, that became part of Ukraine because of the Communists wanting to ensure thee are enough Russians in Ukraine,     So why is that not a factor in the present Ukraine according to them?   Well it is a factor when -

*    in 2014 the USA organized and funded a coup on Ukraine- in contravention of basic democratoc values and in fact against the Ukraine Constitution

*     that elements of the Ukraine army attacked and murdered Russian speaking people and that led to the civil war erupting in Ukraine. when the local Russians took action to defend themselves against murderous attacks on civilians - there were ore than 14 000 people murdered in those attacks during 2014-15;

*      Peace talks were held in Minsk in 2015 to stop the civil war. and to try and find a settlement that  would protect life and poperty of all residents.   The agreement inter alia that the Ukraine borders will be adhered to  bar the Crimea where it would be impossible to persuade the Russian and Tatar population 095% of the total population) to become part of Ukraine again.    Russia in fact was pressing for the retention of the borders in the Eastern Ukraine.    It was furthermore agreed that a referendum would be held in Ukraine to be organized by the Ukraine government under EU Supervision to deal with a proposed Federal Government system.   

*       the Minsk ageement was actively undermined by the USA and it caused great frustration for the Governments of  Germany and France.   The result was that the Referendum agreed to in Monsk was never held and the attacks onn russians in Ukraine continued and another circa 4 500 people were murdered between 2015 and 2022.   Over the last year the conditions were getting worse,    The Ukrine passed a law forbidding Russian as a language of instruction in schools and people were fined when they speak Russian in .public places. despite aa high nube of Russians stranded in Ukraine.    The matter gort worse when Russian=soeaking members of the Ukraine Parliament was arrested - despite the fact that they supported a Ukraine Government proposals conemning a potentail invasion of Ukraine.      App political parties in Ukraine other than the present regime hace en banned,   

*       Putin repeatedly called for adherence to the Minsk agreement - Germany and france agreed to the request - but the Biden Regime sabotaged such talks.   The real situation is that American politicians  found  Ukraine to be a area - the mist corrupt country in Europe a giid place to enrich themselves through bribery and corruption.

*      Despite all the propaganda in the West  the Russian people will always protect fellow-Russians - especially when their life is endangered and they are oppressed.and Putin was given no choice but to act against what has been happening in Ukraine,    .

The death of innocents started in 2014 period and has continued since and if no intervention was made would have continued and escalated so the tough measures no matter how painful had to be done. Negotiations were done in Minsk 1 and 2 agreements but were ignored. Tough measures were called for.

If you have gangerine in your leg and the surgeon tells you you have 2 choices , either amputation or death what call do you make...just leave it as it is? Yeah it's tough and unpleasant but it's do or die. Nobody wants war, at least sane people but such calls require tough measures. If you do sfa then you face the consequences.
