Khayelitsha is about 3 weeks behind the rest of the curve...and the public sector has only recently started to test significant numbers....Ceres (Witzenberg) is an outlier though...I wonder what happened there.

Seems like roughly the same trend regardless of how well "social distancing" is adhered to.

Well Cape Town numbers seem to be dropping and the recoveries are looking real good.

The number I was given iro of the Hessequa Municipality was 9 cases of which 6 have recovered already,   In an area with a population of over 50 000 that is meaningless.

Corona grows exponentially quickly. It accelerates out of nowhere. 10,000 is high in one day. The US is recording 50,000 and they are doing more testing per capita.
Usually, 3-4 weeks after a breakout, the serious hospitalisation is done.
Certainly still worth following social distancing and handwashing at the very least.

Well, the figures for Cape Town is not exponential...which makes me wonder how accurate they are...I know less tests are being done...just less than 4000 new cases in a week for a city of 4 M people is still serious though.

54 104...so an increase of just over 6K for the week...still less than some other parts...I hear they're thinking of stricter lockdown regulations again for the Western Cape.
