He's got a feel for Cape culture...from my home town...same highschool as my dad and Mpower...my mom bought her rose plants from his parents' nursery when I was a lad...

Yes that's Correct, David Kramer is from Worcester. I never knew that he went to Worcester Gim.

Royal Hotel is another classic song. Anton Goosen is also a legend. Worsie Visser left us to quickly.

"I never knew that he went to Worcester Gim."

Was still Boys High back then... there's a reason the blazer looks looks similar to PBH... Worcester Primary used to be Boys Primary and the Girls primary was somewhere east of Worcester Gim in Church Street.

When I started high school in 1988, it was Worcester High School. Then, in 1990, it changed to Worcester Gim. My school is at 140 Tulbagh Street, Worcester.

I didn't know it was once called Boys High. The time I was there, we luckily had girls around ;)

I was in WPS

...up until 1981 it was WBP/WLJ...they combined the Boys and Girls primaries in 1982...I was in Standard 3 at the time...fantastic memories of those years...

Db, when last were you in Worcester? I was there about 6 months ago, and it's almost unrecognizable.

Gone are the good old days. I can remember how safe it was, even late at night.

I've been there many times over the last 35 years...it was way worse than now about 15 years ago, but it will never be the same again
