A salute to the bravery of the Ukrainian people….with a quarter the population, the lowest GDP per capita in Europe and a military totally unprepared for conflict…they have resisted one of the world’s supposed military superpowers 7 times longer than the experts predicted. There are no oceans involved here, no mountains on the invasion path….just bodies.

The Ukrainians have certainly fought bravely, in spite of the actions of their transvestite puppet who sold his people out. However, I am more impressed with Russia. Well over a dozen countries have been pumping money and supplies to Ukraine. Over a hundred billion has been given. Russia operates well without the element of surprise, given that Ukraine has been well-supplied with intel from numerous sources. Once the terrain allows for greater mobility and troops, Ukraine is going to suffer worse. It's impressive how Russia has been able to indirectly bleed the West financially and militarily. The USA's supposed advanced technology is being exposed for the overpriced junk that many already warned them to be. For the sake of the USA, Ukraine is being obliterated, and Russia is becoming a far more dangerous adversary than it would have otherwise been. This has been a calamitous disaster for the West, none more so than the Ukrainians who are being used as a glove puppet, to soak up the fruit of America's idiocy and lust for total global domination. my only hope now is that Russia can purge Europe of its dictators. All of this for what? It's time for Obiden, Macron, Scholtz, Merkel, Soetoro, Trudeau, Blair, Bush snr and jnr, both Clintons and numerous others to be charged for their crimes and executed.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA,,,,and I thought Zelenskyy was supposed to be a comedian, he's got nothing on your, your comedy gold man.
That has to be the most optimistic military assessment since Comical Ali in the Iraq war.

The terrain allowed for greater mobility of troops all of last summer, will this this time will be different? Far from being impressive, Russia has been singularly unimpressive militarily. The temporary advantage they have gained from higher oil prices will dissipate and they have alienated their best customer, Western Europe. So they will be left negotiating oil sales  to China, with no cards to play.

As for the US, nobody in the US wanted this war….there was far more concern with recovering from Covid dislocations. Closer ties between China and Russia are dangerous. But China can’t ignore its largest markets Europe and America, in the long run.

And it’s going to be a bit tough charging Bush Senior unless the Iranians really have a worm hole to the after life.

I think Western Europe and US has alienated itself from Russia and the East. The only one beneffiting from the sanctions is the US.

I doubt any benefits the US may have gained eg by increased gas sales to Europe offsets the increase in oil prices and the consequent inflation…and the cost of military aid. The idea that this is a US economic war is truly nonsense.

The fact is that there are detrimental effects of the War in Ukraine for both the USA and in the EU.  It may not be so evident for the wealthy in the USA - but inflation is playing havoc with the livelihoods of the working class and the EU economic situation cause massive inflation and there will definitely a decline in agricultural production in the USA since they are totally dependent on Russia and China for their fertilizers.

One salute the bravery of the Ukrainians - but they would find themselves in a disastrous situation the more the war continuous.

The popularity of the War in Ukraine has been indicated by the fall of Governments in Italy, Sweden and Austria.    There are at least a dozen EU Governments that would not survive elections - so support of Ukraine will decrease.
