Biden is trying to be a jack of all trades. He knows that the DCCC has his back but his campaign also knows that the voters are torn between him and Sanders. It is no certainty that the staunch Sanders supporters will not vote for Trump rather than support Biden. It is actually a great fear for both the DCCC and the Biden camp that that may be exactly what will happen. That is why Biden is trying to appeal to both the left and the far left within the Democratic Party. His moves to the far left is an indication of just how scared his camp and the DCCC is of the socialists.
