At more than 900000 active cases California has more than double the number of active cases of any other state....but they wear masks/ ban restaurant dining and even have the benefit of a largely outdoor climate.

The other science icon Germany today had the second highest death rate of any country. Sad to say this virus doesn’t seem to respect anything but China style incarceration in your own home. All of which says our one shot to prevent the vast damage of this epidemic was to isolate the initial outbreak as they have done with Ebola.
Short of that only an aggressive vaccination development program...Warp Speed.... has any hope of getting us back to normal.
