A report on CNBC seems to think so. Apparently Tonga which has had 1 Covid case in 5 months has suddenly developed several cases. The likely suspect an Aussie relief ship which developed 20 Covid cases on Board.

The irony.

Yes Omicron which originated from somewhere in the world.

if you want to point the finger it will in the end lead back to its initial origins.

"Yes Omicron which originated from somewhere in the world."

Yes thanks to the less potent South African variant,  the pandemic might soon be over.

Where it came from is a different issue. For weeks we have been listening to lectures from Aussies about the need to protect Australians from foreigners….seems it’s not crucial to protect Covid free islands from Australians.

The main thing is we need to support all countries through this crisis.

No I think it is a case of the rugby playing islanders playing in OZ and NZ returning home.

These two countries have been using rugby players from the islands to raise the game in both countries for a number of years.

The fact is that the Pacific Island people earn their incomes in NZ and send the funds back to their islands so their families can survive.

Auckland is the largest Pacific Island populated city in the world.

Hense alot of Pacific Island Kiwis are NZ Born.

And the size of that population in NZ has no relevance to rugby.

The 2018 Census recorded a total of 381,642 people from over thirty distinct Pacific groups living in New Zealand.

NZ has a total population of just over 5 Million.

I think it may be best if you focus on the facts and put your energy into supporting the people who are genuinely trying to make your country a better place.

It's about the consensus about what's wrong and what's right and the assumption that the majority must be right...that's the worst assumption ever, the majority in the 1930's Germany were supporters of the Nazis...

Forcing the consensus of the majority on everyone is tyranny by numbers...there must be room for individual freedoms.

Well done AJH.

I was not referring to any of your bullshit political leaders.

They have a track record of a shit house rat.

I doubt that you know anything about NZ with the idiot comments you have made.
