It is very funny. It is how it matters so much to place a framework on anything as liberals are eager to frame anything that is going to happen as confirming their claims.

Diplomacy encompasses more than negotiation, many relations are included beside negotiation.

Iran has stated it: they have exchanged papers etc with the US but it does not mean they are' negotiating.

Trump has clearly lied on the ongoing process as he kept claiming negotiations were going very well, that they were close to an end, which they are not.

Iran has kept acting on the diplomatic front: they way they control the re opening of the strait is a diplomatic act.

A possibility is that Trump is going to escalate military action and this claim of successful negotiations is one way to sell the war at home. Iran will have been offered a fair and square peace plan, Iran will have rejected, the US will be coerced to escalate.

Of course, Iran may have perceived the trap and keep telling no negotiations are being held to avoid validating the US narration. Iran has already been bitten when the US broke a negotiation process (they may have acted out of treachery, disguising their war intents under promising negotiations)

Time will tell. Trump may deliver the narration that the US must increase the military pressure as Iran has not accepted a great, beautiful peace plan soon enough.

- A US proposal was sent

- Iran rejected it

- Communication is happening via intermediaries

- Iran says no negotiations are taking place

So yes diplomacy, not negotiations.

Sending proposals and rejecting them is not the same as sitting down and negotiating a deal.

Part of the process or not (it is not), Trump's claims about well advanced negotiations going very well etc are invalidated.

Liberals through Trump get rid of diplomacy, Iran still plays the diplomatic game, liberals no longer. What is going on right now is very good: remember, peeps, liberalism is a de-civilisation process.

1. Trump claims negotiations have been happening
2. Trump claims Iran gave him a present as goodwill (no one backs this up
3. Trump makes more rants on Truth Social about negotiations
4. Iran deny negations
5. Trump sends a 25-point peace plan (the start of negotiations). E.g. speaking directly to Iran.
6. Iran rejects the peace plan.
7. Iran offers a new peace plan. America rejects
8. Any form of Negotiation fails, neither party will accept either peace plan (like Ukraine)
9. Trump is preparing for a land invasion.

So the negotiations only started long after Trump claimed there were negotiations.

The art of the deal. Make up lies and then claim victory.

Offer a peace plan that no country would accept. Then send in Americans to die, and create problems for future generations. The Middle East will hate Americans even more.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Middle East will continue to be attacked, destroying their trade, and potentially putting the global economy into recession.

Trump will not declare the names of the Iranian negotiating delegation and Iran has declared that there is no ceasefire. To seal the matter Iran has rejected in total American demands and instead has made its own demands. If by chance any of this is confusing, what is not confusing is that Iran is in control of the Strait of Hormuz and by so doing is crippling the economies of US allies. It makes a mockery of Trump's strategy and plans if ever there was a half decent one to start off with.

Iran originally recently gifted the USA 8 boats / ships of oil ..... and then later increased it to 10

Iran wanted to show the US that they were serious about talks and offered the oil for free.

This was the gift that Trump was referrring to, and Trump even asked his special envoy Steve Witkoff if he could publicly announce what this gift from Iran was at their recent cabinet meeting because he was slightly concerned that releasing that information could affect the ongoing negotitations with Jared Kushner.

That is why not many in the White House know about this "Gift" ... they kept it under wraps until Trump announced what it was.
