Ever heard about the five eyes group which the FBI used to spy on Trump and his associates?  Well Australia was one country involved in the 5 eyes group.    There is a huge difference to what you posted,.   Putin respected Trump and Trump acted against Russia often enough,   He tore up the nuclear armaments treaty because Russia was cheating on it - he banned the completion of the Nord stream pipeline because  it would make EU countries more dependent on Russia for gas supply and unlike Obama he approved armaments provision to Ukraine.

Puten even publicly said in 2020 he would prefer Biden to Trump as President.   Putin respected and in a way feared Trump with his business orientated approach to issues.   There is no affection - there is a business management approach by Trump.

There is also one difference .and that is Trump's priority always was a peaceful and stable world to be achieved through negotiation - not through wars.    Trump would end the war on favorable conditions to Ukraine and stop the warmongering BSters like you and that Australian ex-PM.     .
