That is a big concern Denny. The "Zuma" camp in the NEC of the ANC has not been defeated yet. They are a bit weaker than they were last year, but they are still strong enough. Cyril has his work cut out for him, and it won't be easy. If he fails, SA is gone. There is very little left to plunder, but Zuma wants to stay in charge by proxy, just to stay out of prison.
Interesting times ahead, and not in a nice way at all. The fight back only just started and is long from over.
Note the poorly concocted story...."CR is a white people President." I'm not sure how to take that one. But yes, Zuma desperately wants to avoid prison and that's the reason he wants his ex wife in charge. It just amazes me how little regard they have for the country and its people and how they still hang with Zuma even though he's looted the state coffers and left SoE's bankrupt.
They won't give up, Ramaphosa won't finish his second term. They didn't like Mbeki either, a technocrat, he was too aloof they claimed, they prefer thieves instead. Someone should just put a bullet through Zuma's thick skull.
