Some Boroughs have more than 50% of the population infected from Covid. 80% is required for herd immunity, but even 70% should ensure the r-rate reduces.

It’s amazing what these lockdowns can do, put them in place and in no time you have herd immunity.

It was working until the new UK strain got out of control.
The US is bad, but it is only starting to see the UK strain. Then there is the South African strain that might be able to beat the current vaccines... 

Germany has also totally lost control. This is going to be the winter from hell.

Deaths should start to reduce by spring, but cases will still be high. By the end of the summer, solid progress will have been made .

Given the jury is still out on whether herd immunity is possible with this type of virus, it’s yet more supposition.
