So, a couple of Italians scientists used SAR(Synthetic Aperture Radar) to scan the 2nd Pyramid. Here's a GPT description of what it is;

"Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is a remote sensing technology that uses radar signals to create high-resolution images of the ground. It works by sending microwave pulses and measuring their echoes, allowing it to "see" through surfaces like sand or stone, even in darkness or bad weather."

There was recently a press release that provided the abstract of their paper.

And here is a summary of what they are saying;

Under the second pyramid at Giza there are 8 x 648m deep vertical shafts that are meters wide, and surrounded by coils(which i think might be stairs. The shafts are arranged in two parallel rows and meet at two massive 80m per side cube-like structures. From what I can gather they are also saying that the Box like structures continue on for down further into he ground.

Apparently there findings are being challenged, but it's an interesting story and if true might be a massive discovery.

Apparently the Italians are adamant that they will be looking at Hawara too, which is the known site of the Egyptian Labyrinths...an engineering marvel that Herodotus said dwarfed even the pyramids at Giza;

"Though the pyramids beggar description and each one of them is a match for many great monuments built by Greeks, this maze surpasses even the pyramids."

Here is a pic I put together what the Italians are claiming they found at Khafre's pyramid

I have a weird believe that the Pyramids was built before the last Ice Age tha ended about 12 000 BC - in other words i could have been built before the start of the Ice Age by a previous civilization wipd out by the Ice Age or for that matter by alien vistitors to earth. In some way the Egyptian gods with human bodies and animal or bird heads are very puzzling. Nothing starts in rth without a reason I beliee,

When I lived in Greece, the locals were very dismissive of anything Roman. But an Egyptian fellow who was part of the team constantly made the point that the Pyramids were in a different league.

That said Delphi is a pretty cool historical site.

I'd love to know what Egyptian Labyrinth must look like for numerous historians to have walked its halls and say that it surpassed the pyramids.

Anyhow, I'll be waiting for the paper RE the above to come out, hopefully this week, and will post it here.

If what these guys are claiming is accurate...structures stretching down vertically that far into bedrock, it's gonna change the way we view Egypt.

Consider how expensive it would be, in 2025, to tell a bunch engineers that you wish to go down 650m, and to have two cubes with sides measuring 80m installed down at that depth.

Crazy

If true it opens up even more unknowns

Indeed, Moz.

There is a lot that points to the fact that what we think we know about Egypt, and indeed about human history on this planet, is an incomplete picture that is missing major chapters.

Remember the vase article I posted? Research has been continuing on them and time after time they are finding the same levels of precision and incorporation of mathematic principles.

I watched an archaeologist explain that these vases were crafted using hand drills and copper chisels. I mean, you read the article at the time, so you could appreciate how ridiculous an explanation that is.

Well, there is a well documented theory about the pyramids being power generators. This might tie into that. Interesting to see how this finding develops and if it will be explored further. And in my lifetime.
