Do those who are convinced there was no election fraud really believe that it’s okay to have somebody vote without providing proof of identity?
My own view is there were 2 forms of election fraud. Firstly the fraud that was sold to the American people in the form of the Russia hoax…never corrected by the media before the election. If just one major publication, like The NY Times, had corrected the record, the election was close enough to have flipped.
Secondly real cheating in the form of false ballots, lost ballots, uncounted ballots. These things happened, they are documented. Read Trump’s statement for a summary of these activities:

But it made no difference. There is no practical way to investigate this stuff after the election when there is time pressure to declare a result. And the Trump team should have known that…the ‘hanging chad’ issue that decided the Bush win was technical not behavioral.
So Trump and Rudi went down a rabbit hole which was really damaging. Read his statement. What he says about his sabotaged presidency is true, but after the election there was no way to fix things, particularly when many of those charged with the investigation were happy with the result.
The real villains here are the media who deliberately sabotaged a presidency, but Trump, while understandably incensed by this, played into their hands. Still the stark difference in people’s lives between America under Biden vs Trump/Mnuchin’s brilliant handling of the economy…is very apparent in Biden’s woeful numbers.
And Trump will never go to jail…..it would tear the country apart and as yet there is nothing revealed that rises to that level.
