The USA imported baby formula in the past to augment US supplies. There apparently was a slight problem at the main baby formula factory in the USA - while he Government take the rest of the produce to feed indigent and very poor families depending on free baby formula and the large number of indigent basis part of the illegal stream of migrants entering the USA - leaving virtually nothing for sale in shops in the USA. The USA used to import the Baby Formula shortfall from Russia.
The Biden countermeasure is to import 308 000 boxes of baby formula from Australia - to be flown out on two plains next week. How long would that supply last - there are about 300 000 babies borne every month in the USA and with the major factory in the uSA not in production left the relieve would at most last for 7 days,
There are fears that due to inflation and other adverse trends in the USA economy the country may go into recession and that would be catastrophic for the whole world.

Thre is ample evidence that the Ukraine uktra-nationalists wants to wipe out the Russian population livin in Eastern Ukraine and having lived thei for many centuries. That was until 1953 never a part of Ukraine who never really was an independent country until 1991/ It compried as a result of a border dearcation by the Communists to ensure limitation of krainians to undermine the then USSR.
The Ukraine at independence because a nation with two distinct communities - the Ukrainians and the Russians They lived in relative peace with each other until the 2014 coup against the then elected president funded and supported by the USA. That coup was contra to the Ukraine constitution and caused the Crimea Parliament to hold a referendum and then with its 86^ Russian speaking majority voted 96% in favor of joining Russia and not remaining part of Ukraine. The counter this fact the woke crazies called the election not free and fair, but that was against the scientific evaluation based on polls in 2014 and recently by Western independent pollsters who found the feeling of the voters being in line with the results. Fact is there are now even more residents in the Crimea who blame the Ukraine for the way it aborted the Ukraine constitution and the fact is they do not want to be part of Ukraine.
There were problems in the Donbas region as well - and pat of the area was never under control of the Ukraine Government since 2014. The Minsk agreement allowed for a new negotiated peace agreement allowing for -
* retention of the Ukraine borders without Cimea being part of the agreement
* revision of the Ukraine constitution with two distinctive areas being determined - the one having majority Ukraine residency and the other being the residence of majority Russia speaking people;
The new Ukraine constitution would guarantee a greater degree of "provincial government control in the Eastern Ukraine area with defined functions of freedom of all people in the siad area.
Ukraine was together with Russia organize elections in the area voting for the creation of the Ukraine as negotiated, to approve the revised Constitution and establish a new federal form of Government i Ukraine. Both parties agreed to the negotiated settlement and Ukraine was supposed to organize the referendum on the issue.- which they never did.
In all of this the corrupt idiots running Washington undermined the agreement and caused in a major way the problems now encountered. Instead the propaganda network started to claim that the Ukraine is winning the war against Russia and they must be encouraged to keep fighting by the USA - while the Ukraine itself is suffering and the Ukraine army is NOT winning the War.
A negotiated peace based on the Minsk agreement is the only way out. Even NATO says that Ukraine will not win the war and it may became a long term problem - yet the Washington crowd and especially the ultra-corrupt amongst them are not in favor of peace - since it will cut back on the backhanders they thrive on.
