SENIOR Polish ministers have lashed out a t the European Union (EU), claiming its leaders “should wake” on mass migration to the continent following the devastating terror attack in Barcelona.
Poland’s interior minister Mariusz Blaszczak said the terrorist attacks on Barcelona and Cambrils, which killed 15 people, showed the EU’s system of migrant relocation was wrong.
He added: “It is dangerous. Europe should wake up. We are dealing here with a clash of civilisations.”
He claimed that “Poland is safe” because it had resisted the bloc’s compulsory migrant quotas and unlike Spain had “no enclaves where people do not integrate to the country where they emigrated”.
Mr Blaszczak also alleged that the Barcelona atrocity was simply the “tragic end” of policies “inciting millions of people to cross the sea to come to Europe”.
