The days of great leadership are  gone and we hare left with bumbling incompetents like the dementia suffering Biden.   The Russian Communists always bragged that the west will succumb ultimately because of the deficiencies in the democratic system.   

Matter of fact what is never mentioned in the modern era is that  the ancient Greeks regarded Democracy as a bad form, of Government,  because of the danger of mob rule and  of demagogue leadership.    

The only world leaders with a program for their countries future are the Chinese, the Russians and the Iranians - in other words of dictatorial rule.   The western thinking has taken democracy so far to a theoretical perfection that  would always result in chaos and short term decisions that harm their countries,   

There are broadly speaking only two types  of  leaderships in the world today  namely -

*    dictatorships with Russia bordering on that,  but of a more benevolent kind; and

*     the often corrupt, dishonest and incompetent leaders  in the so-called democracies,

So do we have leaders today  that puts the people they govern before anything else?   I am afraid there are none.   

I remember some discussions in War and Peace after the defeat of Napoleon - when Russia was going into a government morass.    One of the people involved  said - "I wish  Napoleon is back - he will hit the nonsense out of them."    How true is that today.    Maybe the Chinese Communists may be the Napoleon of today,

The problem is that if you take the last century  there are many examples where the best leaders countries had were  not really democrats,   Take for instance Salazar of Portugal  - lived in a small flat in  Lisbon - not a mansion - paid himself  about $1 200  a month as salary and  the result - Portugal was financially better off than the mighty UK.    Those who followed was all poor leaders - and Portugal within five years  was an economic train-smash.  Needless to say like the present Democrats in the USA  it was the Socialists who took over from him in  1974.

Wait a second  -   the story is not what you make it out to be.    Illegal migrants can be granted   citizenship if they worked  on farms  for 18 months  in the last five years,   That opens the way for fraudulent  applications in huge numbers/

So who wants open borders in the USA - certainly not the preset Latino community who have US citizenship through birth or  who fled from Cuba  under Castro.     In Florida the Latinos rejected the Democrats  and Biden in 2020  and unlike in the past 5 presidential elections in 2020 was not a marginal state anymore,    In Texas the Congressional Districts with overwhelming Latino residential numbers who elected Democratic members of the House  with majorities of more than 20% in 2020 became marginal with majorities  of less than 5% and in in one case a seat was flipped by the Republicans.    Same happened in California where a number of House seats went Republican, eg California 25 in Los Angeles who has a majority o f Latino and Black voters, 

So who wants open borders?    The Democratic Socialists - eg the Communists within the Democratic Party - who call the shots under Biden.     The children problem started under Obama and  the solutions  Obama used was inherited and retained by the Trump administration.    The Democrats lied about it and so did the media.   .They used it as propaganda against Trump - but never against Obama.- and suckers fell for the story. 

What the Biden handlers did  was open borders and  if they think they are strengthening themselves politically the Louisiana example I quoted above is just  the beginning of a nightmare for them.

The book I read about three times to fully comprehend that it is the best novel ever written.   The way the book was written is very difficult to see how the various topics merge into a w hole - the way life was lived in Russia in the early 19th century and the way it is lived today.   Peoples outlook on life then is similar to what  it is today - unless  you are part of the Woke  culture that is and at destruction and the cancel culture you find  in the Western countries at present.
