just a matter of time before the top medical expert Dr Fauci would be thrown under a bus. Dr Fauci has served the USA under 6 POTUS but Trump is the first one to call him out for being a "disaster" and an "idiot." Not only is Trump dumping on Dr Fauci but alarmingly he's dumping on the science and protocols to fight the dreaded virus. Trump has always been dismissive of the virus but his latest insults sounds like he's feeling the heat of losing which should be an unlosable election.

He has mocked Biden for holding fewer campaign events and for limiting the number of attendees, while Biden and public health experts have assailed Trump for hosting crowded rallies with few masks and little social distancing amid a pandemic that has killed nearly 220,000 Americans.
On his call earlier on Monday, Trump told his campaign staff that Americans were fed up with pandemic restrictions, even as case numbers rise in many states, and called Anthony Fauci, the government’s top infectious disease expert, a “disaster.”
“People are saying, ‘Whatever. Just leave us alone.’ They’re tired of it. People are tired of hearing Fauci and all these idiots,” said Trump, who has played down the pandemic for months."
It's abundantly clear that what he means when he says "people are tired it" is for the public to ignore social distancing and not to wear masks. It's hard to believe how anyone can be as reckless and irresponsible especially when it's the leader of your country.
Sure, go about your business but take the necessary precautions.....what's with this man that he cannot make that call and failed to make the call dating back to when it became abundantly clear the necessity of fighting the virus with the only tools available until such time that there's a vaccine.
One wonders how many lives would have been saved.
