This is just politicising to try to score moral points again st the other side by only highlighting opposition figures.
Epstein was linked with many of the richest people in the world - from all ideologies. Yet, we see no mention of Price Andrew or Trump etc- or the Church etc
----It is important to note that labelling someone as a paedophile based solely on their disagreement with your beliefs is both unfair and inappropriate.
However, there may be several reasons why some religious individuals might resort to such accusations:
1. Deflection and avoidance: Labeling someone as a paedophile can be a way for religious people to divert attention from the actual disagreement or criticism they are facing. By making such an extreme accusation, they hope to discredit their opponent and shift the focus away from the original issue.
2. Moral superiority: In some cases, religious individuals may believe that their faith grants them a higher moral ground. By labelling someone as a pedophile, they are essentially condemning them as morally corrupt and positioning themselves as morally righteous in comparison. This tactic is an attempt to devalue and dismiss the opposing viewpoint by attacking the character of the person expressing it.
3. Demonization and fear tactics: Accusing someone of being a pedophile is a severe allegation that carries significant social stigma. By using such language, religious individuals may be attempting to demonize their opponent and instill fear or disgust in others, making it less likely for people to engage with or consider the opposing viewpoint.
4. Emotional manipulation: Labeling someone as a pedophile is an emotionally charged accusation. It can be used as a way to manipulate and intimidate the person being targeted, silencing their dissent or criticism out of fear of reputational damage or legal repercussions.
It is crucial to emphasize that baseless accusations of this nature are harmful and unjust. Such tactics undermine productive dialogue, respect for differing opinions, and the pursuit of truth. Engaging in respectful and reasoned discourse is a more constructive approach to address disagreements and foster understanding between people with differing beliefs.
