I would be prepared to bet big money on it that Trump knew that it was a manipulated video and he deliberately tweeted it out. He is constantly mocking CNN for the way in which they manipulate news. I’m not even going to bother digging up examples because there are numerous examples.
One of those examples, in particular, is the one about the Covington kids, that Plum brought up. They were sued, with the help of Robert Barnes, for $250m and they settled out of court for an undisclosed amount. Barnes is an expert at dealing with these social media companies and has had a number of victories over Twitter in particular.
I have said it on another thread as well. Twitter, whether ou Rooies likes it or not, are treading on a very thin wire. That EO that Trump signed wasn’t something done overnight after they flagged his previous tweet. That EO was drawn up long ago and was waiting for an opportunity to be signed.
The interview between Joe Rogan and Jack Dorsey and his legal sidekick was done with Tim Pool also involved. Tim Pool may look like some scruffy dude but he has done some great investigative journalism. He did great groundwork during the Occupy Wall Street protest. He had the Twitter legal sidekick in a twist in no time, during that interview.
