That is a very good way to prevent misinformation and disinformation. Put someone under oath, and it quickly becomes clear what they actually believe.

Tucker knows the vaccines are great, albeit not perfect. He would 1st in line to get the vaccine, despite persuading others from not taking them on live TV. This misinformation caused the deaths of gullible people.
Hannity admits under oath that he never believed Trumps election conspiracy at anytime, even though he pushed the BS for ages. Surely that is terrorism, not freedom of speech.
The dumb rednecks stormed the Capitol because they believed the nonsense, and now they sit behind bars. Perhaps some sympathy can be given to them for being so gullible, but ultimately they made the decision to dress themselves in the morning and go down to the Capitol.
