.....a rather obvious point. But important, the US closed travel from China and the cases in Washington State were containable. So the West Coast in general has done well.

NY was a different story. Once this thing hit the streets of NY there was no containing it. . The pipeline from Wuhan was diverted through Spain, Switzerland and particularly Italy. If those countries had followed Trump’s early travel ban things would be looking much better for them and the East Coast. 

Interestingly for the first time I can recall,  the good doctor said he is not getting all the information he would like from China and Fauci also joined the chorus that says the Chinese numbers are not very plausible.

He also signed on without reservation to the Trump back to work scheme. Better from Dr Fauci.

Is there any info about the dead in New York of people who were essentially living in the Street Side Walks and of Black residents as well?    Should Fredo Cuomo and De Blasio not be charged with criminal neglect of office in not following the California example of locking down the State and City - thus allowing for the uninterrupted spreading of the virus?        

The United States is probably the single most visited country on the planet and New York is usually the entry point.

The US, New York in particular, was always going to be hit the hardest by this bug.

Except Italy imposed a travel ban on China 4 days before the US did and it was actually a more complete ban with no exemptions unlike the US ban . Didn't help them much did it.

Also a bit nit picky on this point I know, but Trump wasn't the first to introduce the travel ban on China. It was that leading giant among world statesmen...eh.em..Kim Jong Un?

On the seeding of corona virus in New Yorke coming from Europe. Is there a break down of nationality responsible for the seeding? Where European citizens the primary cause of the virus being seeded in NY or was it American citizens returning from Europe who would have been exempt from the travel ban anyway. As far as I know the travel ban incorporates all member states of the Schengen Area amended a few day later to include the UK and Ireland, which would cover most of Europe's population but that still leaves about 20 or so European states not hit with the travel ban. Also was their a reason given why the UK and Ireland where exempt from the initial ban particularly the UK which was already reporting far worse number of cases than many European states that got put on the initial list?

Its actually the third most visited behind France and Spain but I take your point, it gets a lot of visitors and New York being the most populous city in the US was always likely to be badly affected.

The virus originated in China, as of yet there is no proof it was developed. Trump is not being blamed for the origins of the virus, he's being criticized for his handling of the situation both before and after virus reached America.

Trump placed travel restrictions on China 31 January.  The were only implemented 2 February. 

These restrictions led to Trump being called a racist and xenophobe by democrats. Remember too that his medical experts were telling him it's nothing to worry about! Remember Nanzi Piglosi was saying it's nothing to worry about. The globalist media was saying Trump was racist and Xenophobic and he was wrong to be concerned!

De Blouse io was telling New Yorkers to go to theatres etc enjoy your life. Governor Cuomo was saying the same and they tried to bring a court case to lift the travel restrictions. 

Thank God Trump ignored the advice of the medical, experts and the media etc. 

Given the environment in which he found himself he did remarkably well. 

Young Stav probably didn't watch the montage President Trump played showing  these clowns sla ting Trump for acting. By the end of March he also had his Wuhan Virus task force in place.

All this while being impeached. 

No wonder Trump has these demonrats in a total panic!

What this dunce Stav needs to realize flights were coming in from Wuhan and infecting people early in the day. 

They should have been much quicker that the USA. They also imposed the travel ban on the 31 January.

It's worth keeping in mind that Italy and Spain are both known for multi-generational family units living under the same roof.

High risk groups, in that type of environment, would be at greater risk. 

It also goes some way towards explaining the higher rates among immigrant and ethnic groups in other countries.

Someone needs to put together all Dr Fauci's BS. His consistently changing views, inconsistencies, and fake stats that caused the panic. His links to Gate's, WHO and Tedros must be fully exposed.
