This week a federal court sided with a transgender student who insisted that the Obama administration’s reading of federal Title IX rules would allow her to choose her own bathroom at her Virginia high school.

Gavin Grimm, 16, a student at Gloucester High School in Gloucester, Virginia, demanded the district allow her to use the boys restroom because she identifies as a male. School officials, though, denied the request in December.

After a period of public discussion, Gloucester school district officials decided in a 6-to-1 vote that school bathrooms should be used only by those students whose sex corresponds to the gender the facility is designated to serve.

But the student took the case to a federal court, citing federal Title IX sex discrimination rules. Grimm maintained that the federal government can force schools to allow transgender students to choose whatever bathroom they feel like using.

After hearing the case, in a 2-to-1 ruling the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals sided with the student, saying a lower court should have agreed with the student’s interpretation of the federal discrimination rules.

In a public statement the student said she felt “vindicated” by the newest ruling.

“Today’s decision gives me hope that my fight will help other kids avoid discriminatory treatment at school,” the student said.

In the same statement, the Virginia ACLU said the decision “reinforces” the Obama Department of Education’s interpretation of the policy.

“With this decision,” the VA ACLU said, “we hope that schools and legislators will finally get the message that excluding transgender kids from the restrooms is unlawful sex discrimination.”

The National Center for Transgender Equality also celebrated the ruling, saying the decision is “a very important decision that promotes fairness and dignity for all students.”

The Appeals Court ruling means that the original lower court will have to revisit its ruling to correspond to the upper court’s decision.

Los Angeles (AFP) – Curt Schilling was sacked from his job as a baseball analyst by American sports broadcaster ESPN on Wednesday, following a sarcastic online post that was seen as attacking transgender people.

The former Major League Baseball pitcher on Tuesday reposted a photo on Facebook showing a large man wearing a wig and women’s clothing.

The caption read: “LET HIM IN! to the restroom with your daughter or else you’re a narrow-minded, judgmental, unloving racist bigot who needs to die.”

The post was apparently a response to the controversy over a new North Carolina law that wiped out local statutes allowing transgender individuals to use the bathroom corresponding to the gender with which they identify.

“If you get offended by ANYTHING in this post, that’s your fault, all yours. And for you people too dense to understand this one very important thing. My opinion, 100% mine, and only mine. I don’t represent anyone but myself here, on Facebook, on Twitter, anywhere,” Schilling wrote in a blog posting.

ESPN released a statement saying Schilling was no longer welcome at the broadcaster.

“ESPN is an inclusive company ( But excludes the silent majority like Schilling!). Curt Schilling has been advised that his conduct was unacceptable and his employment with ESPN has been terminated.”

Schilling was previously suspended by ESPN last year after he made controversial remarks about Muslims (Probably just telling it as it is.). 

Schilling won three World Series titles as a pitcher with the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Boston Red Sox.

The Target department store chain has jumped into the transgender bathroom debate by declaring that men who claim to be women may use whatever bathroom or changing room they choose. (HOW ABOUT THE VAST MAJORITY OF WOMEN WHO DON'T LIKE THIS. WHAT UTTER GARBAGE!!!)

“Inclusivity is a core belief at Target,” a new company statement reads. “It’s something we celebrate. We stand for equality and equity, and strive to make our guests and team members feel accepted, respected and welcomed in our stores and workplaces every day.”

The retailer added, “We welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity.”

“Everyone deserves to feel like they belong,” the statement concluded. “You’ll always be accepted, respected and welcomed at Target.”

Target spokeswoman Molly Snyder added that the policy statement is a public confirmation of its longstanding policy. “It’s just us being very overt in stating it,” she said.

Customers and potential customers almost immediately spoke out against Target’s decision to ignore the biological difference between men and women.(tHE POLITCALLY CORRECT MORONS DONT MIND MAKING THE MAJORITY OF FOLK FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE. “Why would you choose to allow men in the women’s restroom when every single store has a single family restroom that can easily accommodate your Transgender customers,”Sandy Bell Small wrote on Facebook. “Way to go Target for choosing to protect the .03% of the ADULT transgender population over your women, children, mothers, grandchildren, teenager population. I’m sure you will say you I longer miss us but I’m sure the $$$’s spent weekly will be felt somewhere.”

Four-year-old infants in Brighton are being asked to “choose” the gender they “identify” with before they even start school.

Parents have expressed alarm as suspicion gathers that the city’s educational establishment has been taken over by a hardcore transgender lobby.

In 2013, Brighton & Hove City Council launched a “Trans Inclusion Schools Toolkit” encouraging schools and parents to “support transgender and gender questioning” children, which “may include taking hormones and or having gender reassignment surgeries”.

The city has one of the largest transgendered communities in the country, and its local Member of Parliament is from the Green party, which recently announced they are now calling women non-men to avoid offending the transgendered.(All ths is really hard to believe. Whewre aere the normal people. Boot these loonies into touch!)

Now, in a letter confirming primary school places this week, the city council wrote to thousands of parents to ask if their child had “another gender identity” other than male or female.!!!!!!!!!

It comes after the Office of the Children’s Commissioner sent a survey for pupils aged 13 to 18 at every school in Brighton, asking them to choose a gender with which they identify.

Emma Daniel, a councillor and head of Brighton’s equalities committee, defended the local government’s transgender agenda.

“We have inserted the additional text about gender identity in response to calls from families, young people and schools to show an inclusive approach” Ms. Daniel said.( Give numbers!!)

Anne Longfield, Children’s Commissioner for England, appeared to support the council. “We want to know how gender matters to young people. How does it affect their lives and what do they want to change?” she said.

One shocked local mother, who asked to remain anonymous for fear of being attacked by transgender activists, told Brighton & Hove News that she was worried that confusing her child with transgender propaganda could have harmful ramifications later in life.

“…Children at school should be free to develop their identity, celebrate their achievements and accept their bodies. The little boy who wants to wear a dress should be allowed to do that without being pathologised, diagnosed, and treated.

“Research has shown that 80% of children who experience gender dysphoria as children DO NOT transition in later life but instead are more likely to be gay.

“The worrying rise in schools and other agencies accepting the self identification of a four-year-old is likely to cause emotional distress”, she argued.

Adding: “Treating children as though they are adults is a dangerous approach from a safeguarding point of view. They are not adults – let them enjoy the innocence and creativity of their childhood.”

A Pennsylvania man who was arrested for taking photos of a 10-year-old girl in a public restroom has now also been hit with child porn charges, police report.

Quarryville, PA, resident James Thomas Shoemaker, 19, was arrested last week when he was found hiding in a stall of the woman’s bathroom in the Sheetz store on Manheim Pike. Police said he was taking images of young girls on his cell phone.

The arrest comes as progressives step up their judicial and media push to force American adults and youths to share all of their public bathrooms and changing rooms with the small number of people who try to live and look like people of the opposite sex. In mid-April, for example, Target stores announced they would only allow mixed-sex changing rooms and toilets. On April 21, media outlets claimed that Donald Trump supported the progressive campaign to eliminate single-sex bathrooms.

In fact, Trump backs the current live-and-let-live policy favored by most Americans, in which they willingly tolerate the quiet use of normal bathrooms by people of the opposite sex.

“There’s a big move to create new bathrooms … for transgender [people] … that would be discriminatory in a certain way [and] that would be unbelievably expensive for businesses in the country,” Trump said April 21. “Leave it the way it is,” he added.

A recent study of the 2010 census showed that only 89,667 adults had changed their names from one sex to another. That’s roughly 1 in 2,500 adults. Advocates of greater status for people who live like people of the opposite sex, however, say one in every 400 American adults are transgender.

In Quarryville, the suspect was accused of entering the women’s restroom and staying there for about an hour. Police also said that while in the facility he looked at pornography on his cell phone and then used his phone to take photos of a child who entered the room. The child alleged that Shoemaker held his cell phone over the top of the stall she was in and recorded her activities.

Shoemaker consented to allowing police to look through the images on his cell phone whereupon they discovered nude photos of his girlfriend. But police also learned that the girlfriend is only 16 and now they’ve hit the suspect with a felony child pornography charge on top of the third degree misdemeanor invasion of privacy charge he was already facing.

The suspect, who was free awaiting a hearing on the earlier charge, was taken back into custody and was lodged in the Lancaster County prison in lieu of a $250,000 bail.

The arrest in Pennsylvania comes about two weeks after the arrest of a man in California who was dressed as a woman and caught taking video of women in a Macy’s store women’s restroom.

A backlash is growing against retail giant Target Corp. after its announcement this week that it will allow men who claim to be transgender to use whichever bathroom they choose while shopping or working at their stores. But after two days of a social media firestorm, forces are now gathering to #BoycottTarget over its bathroom policy.

On Tuesday, April 19, the retailer put out a statement welcoming transgender people to its stores, saying it celebrates “inclusivity,” insisting, “We stand for equality and equity, and strive to make our guests and team members feel accepted, respected and welcomed in our stores and workplaces every day.”

The retailer added, “We welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity.”

But on the day after the department store chain’s announcement, the backlash began. By Thursday, many were flooding Facebook and Twitter with missives urging people to boycott the retail giant, with many of the posts linking to a new effort launched by the American Family Association (AFA).

AFA launched its effort on Thursday because, it said, Target “said it would allow men to use the women’s restrooms and dressing rooms in their stores.”

AFA added that Target’s policy tells a sexual predator he “can simply say he ‘feels like a woman today’ and enter the women’s restroom … even if young girls or women are already in there.”

“Clearly, Target’s new policy poses a danger to wives and daughters,” AFA warned. “We think many customers will agree. And we think the average Target customer is willing to pledge to boycott Target stores until it makes protecting women and children a priority.”

In the meantime, thousands of potential Target customers are warning the chain they will no longer shop there.

Rev. Franklin Graham says businesses and organizations should not be “forced by law to allow men pretending to be women to use women’s restrooms.”

“Men have no business using women’s bathrooms and locker rooms. Period,” Grahamposted to Facebook Friday. “It’s not up to us to decide our sex—God determines that.” (Hear Hear!!)

Graham says he disagrees with GOP candidate Donald Trump’s comments on the North Carolina public safety and privacy law. Trump said people should use the bathroom they feel is appropriate.

The evangelist continued:

He said that if Caitlyn Jenner came to Trump Tower, he could use any bathroom he wanted. That’s Mr. Trump’s prerogative on his own property. But businesses and organizations shouldn’t be forced by law to allow men pretending to be women to use women’s restrooms. NC Governor Pat McCrory and legislators were absolutely right to pass HB2 to protect young girls, boys, and women from sexual predators and perverts.

Trump’s comments drew the ire of conservative leaders Thursday after an NBC Today Show town hall in which the Republican frontrunner said North Carolina had “paid a big price” for requiring transgenders to use the restroom that corresponds with their biological sex.

“Leave it the way it is,” he said.

“One of the best answers I heard was from a commentator yesterday, saying ‘Leave it the way it is right now,’” Trump continued. “There have been very few problems. Leave it the way it is. North Carolina, what they’re going through with all of the business that’s leaving and all of the strife, and that’s on both sides — you leave it the way it is.”

“There have been very few complaints the way it is,” Trump added. “People go, they use the bathroom that they feel is appropriate. There has been so little trouble. And the problem with what happened in North Carolina is the strife, and the — the economic punishment that they’re taking.”

Family Research Council president Tony Perkins told Breitbart News Trump’s comments were “ambiguous” at best.

“In this case, his response is very confusing, and this is, as the legislators in North Carolina have pointed out, this is a public safety issue,” Perkins said. “This bill is beyond the ‘sexual confusion’ the left is pushing for 0.5 percent of the population, to a public safety issue, and I think he needs to speak out with clarity.”

“Look, the legislators responded to their constituents and, if anything, he should be speaking to his friends in big business to quit being literally on the strings as puppets for radical sexual anarchists,” he added.

Conservative Penny Nance of Concerned Women for America said, “Bathroom privacy bills are not meant to discriminate against those who identify as transgender.”

She added that the larger problem is Trump’s judgment.

“This is why conservatives are right to question Donald Trump’s judgment,” Nance continued. “His instincts are wrong on our core values. He has spent his life surrounded by Manhattan elites who have never shopped in a Target. Of course he doesn’t understand the outrage. I don’t know if this will ultimately hurt him politically, but it should.”

Similarly, Peter Wolfgang, president of Family Institute of Connecticut Action, said, “Donald Trump has refused to defend the rights of ordinary citizens against LGBT bullying throughout his presidential campaign.”

“No one should be surprised that Trump now supports allowing men in women’s bathrooms,” he continued. “The only surprise is that anyone who is socially conservative would still support him for President.”

Breitbart News has now reached out to the Trump campaign twice to ask if he would be comfortable with a four-year-old Ivanka going into a bathroom at Target in which there was a 35-year-old man wearing a dress, but has yet to receive a response.

Trump needs to clearify his position and take afirm stance against this stuff.
