Yes Finland is setting a great example to other European states suffering under the rule of Globalist Brussels.

I know part of what the commentator think is cap - but has my own observation based on what happened amongst the EU member nations.    About 30 countries has applied to join BRICS   and there is an indication that France may join as well.    How will that effect the EU - as well as NATO.    

As to NATO the Turks with the second biggest army in NATO has applied to join BRICS.   So what will happen to Turkey's NATO membership.  

At present the present EU countries are politically moving to the right and  that means the insistence of the EU to increase its powers are going to meet more and more resistance   The Dutch and German Governments are particularly vulnerable.

The problem is not only Europe - it is the fact that Biden is driving US allies away and that means often joining BRICS.    That in itself will cause major problems for the EU and  NATO.

The EU is a political and economic union.

NATO is a military union. Many of its members are part of the EU.
The UK is part of NATO, but not part of the EU. 

Liberals and their love for narratives.

Liberal countries do not need a supranational structure like the EU to be globalist.

Liberals rely on division.

Their division of power allows them to set in motion a scheme of dilution of responsibility as they permanently shift the blame from one to the other.

Anytime a country liberal dominant population wants to force a policy on the rest of the population, they use Brussels as an excuse, Brussels force them to do so.

Anytime the same liberal population perceives a Brussels policy as contrary to theirs interests, they show the middle finger to Brussels, Brussels comment on this: nations do as they want, Brussels' policy not binding.

European countries commonly show the middle finger to Brussels, it is part of the expected normal behaviour and by design.

A property that ensures that the EU is here to stay (when compared to the King's power, there is no room for this kind of shifting, the King was responsible and accountable for his own policies, he could not divide himself in various entities to move the blame around)

StavASS has no clue. The EU has been an abject failure. Resistance to the destruction of the nation states to Brussels keeps growing.

Look at Italy, France where Le Pen is going to win the presidency. Germany where THE AFD is surging, Sweden where the Sweden Democrats are surging. How about Holland where the Farmers party is surging. 

The look at Eastern European countries like Hungary. 

THE EU is in turmoil. How will it be when Rusdia wins the war. 

How will it be when Trump wins tbe White House and when Trudeau gets the boot. 

The policies if the Globalist elites have been an utter disaster. The tide has turned.

European liberals invented nothing by the way.

The US have  a similar function in the division between the state and federal levels.

Indians were invited to bring theirs pleas in a legal way.

When settlers were jumping borders, disrespecting their own country( the US)'s laws, Indians were asked to move theirs grievances to the State level. When the delegation arrive, they were answered that the State would like to help but that was a federal matter. When the complaint was moved to the federal level, they were answered the federal would like to help but that was a state matter.

After a round of ping pong game, when the Indians eventually  took the matter in their own hands, they were confirmed as savages unable to live in a civilized way, unable to abide by the law.

Major difference with the King's rule: once a plea arrived to him, no way to deflect.

The conclusion is the opposite: the EU is very far from collapsing from this angle. On the contrary, it ensures resiliency.

Under the King's rule, the progression of settlers and disrepect of private property rights were hindered.

Liberals liberated and settlers were liberated, could border jump and were perceived as victims when Indians tried to defend theirs ancestors'lands.
