Cape Town - Former Wallabies star Israel Folauhas courted more controversy with his anti-gay stance.

According to the Stuff.co.nz website, Folau reiterated his stance against gays in a church sermon on Sunday.

Folau, who recently lost his contract with Rugby Australia after an anti-gay post, described homosexuality as a sin and claimed the devil was behind primary school children being allowed to decide if they wanted to change gender.

"This is what the devil is trying to do, to instil into the government, into this world, into society, and it is slowly happening," Folau said at The Truth of Jesus Christ Church in Kenthurst.

Is Folau related to Beeno?  (It's all a conspiracy - even the person selling popcorn at the local cinema is in on it....)

"The sad thing is why a lot of people out there that are non-Christians say bad things about the church, is because a lot of the churches allow those things to happen.

"They say that a man and a man should be able to be married and there is nothing wrong with it. This buys into the theme of pleasing man rather than pleasing God and standing up for the truth."

On Monday, Folau also uploaded a picture on Twitter, quoting a Bible verse and proclaiming his work to be that of God and not man.

Primary School children being allowed to choose their gender is offensive and completely inappropriate.

That's a very offensive homophobic comment, but what can one expect from a poster who's nick celebrates a 1000 year old war.

The people who attended his ceremony can fund his sermons going forward.
He will soon find that people will grow bored, and move on. In time he will just be a former rugby player, that people have lost interest in. They can get these type of sermons at any local Church from someone who is in that profession full time.
