The media in the USA are controlled by a clique of billionaires and the Chinese Government through shareholdings.    I do not watch Russia today - but if you want the truth you will not find it in the fake media whose objective is to brainwash people and not to think by presenting them with fake news and lies.

Putin is an authoritarian dictator and mass murderer. Anyone who supports him is a degenerate. He kills the opposition party members, and opposition media are closed down or have to leave the country. 

The West has a far more free media with competing ideologies. It is Democratic, despite corruption. However, the corruption is still less than authoritarian countries. This is why the West can beat other countries. 

Russia relies on natural assets, like most authoritarian countries. Their corruption prevents a free market, even when they allow capitalism. 

Face facts Russia is a country of slaves, they have always been. From the Tzars to Stalin to Putin. 

The masses have bent their backs and have no idea what freedom is, history keeps repeating for them and I doubt they will ever throw off the shackles of slavery its like it is in embedded in their DNA now.

Putin will be replaced with another dictator and the slaves will continue to obey.

Well if we examine the intellectual content Russia has added to the world , calling the Russian people slaves is a bit harsh. Russia deserves a good government. If they had that they would prosper.

Not saying they are stupid or anything like that but looking at the history it keeps repeating itself there. You can't deny that fact and I am also not saying they have contributed nothing to the world.

Imagine what they could add if they had the freedom of the western world instead of one dictator after another.

The fact is that Putin allows opposition parties to function and they have support of about 50% of the electorate.   Russia is a huge country covering about one-sixth of the total land area of the world.  It is difficult for parties to organize countrywide and the system of voting is first past the post and not run-offs.   

In the last Parliamentary election Putin's Party got 49,2% of the votes cast compared to 50,8% of the opposition parties.

In the last Presidential election the Opposition Parties tabled a motion in the Duma to change the election day and it was changed,   In the actual election there were 10 opposition  candidates - the strongest one being from the Russian Communist Party.    Putin won easily and there is a reason for that as well - it has nothing to do with dictatorship.   After the fall of the communist regime in 1992 Russia went through a period of extremely serious economic problems - I in fact went for a vacation in Russia in 1993 and found  there were shortages of everything imaginable.   After Putin took over the Government the economy recovered and shortages were eliminated. 

The story of the dictatorship is thin and based on propaganda.   I do not say Putin is not a bad politician and should not be criticized - what I am saying is that people should stick with facts and that you will not get that from the media in the EU countries and the USA.  Putin has deficiencies - but is a notch above the corrupt filth that is running or better still ruining the USA with Biden as puppet President.  

With Biden and his mafia crime family associates there is more corruption in the USA than in Russia.   Corruption in the USA  leadership involved China, Russia, Iran and Ukraine and those countries know that Biden is a farce and he can be manipulated as  a result.   What Obama did as President was to use the Zuma system - capture the FBI, the CIA  and the Justice Department and no  corruption by Democrats will ever be investigated.    The attack is now on State and local police - which has not yet been captured - and the reason is clear.   Get rid of the police  and  corruption can be extended to State and local level by Democrat politicians.   The loot in fact runs into billions of dollars annually.

By the way in a year through his mandates undermined the US  Constitution and his actions were more dictatorial than Trump ever was.   They were aimed at controlling of all the people in the country.   Aside from  that the FBI and CIA is being used to spy on people - even parents who object to indoctrination of their children are spied on.

I did not defend Putin at all - I am merely stating facts.  I never said the attack on Ukraine was justified - fact is if there were decent negotiations any invasion could have been avoided - but negotiations with the Biden Administration is not possible and there was not proof that it ever took place.

Most of the people that have left SA were too young to vote during the Apartheid era, so it is hard to fathom how they can be responsible. Sure some of the Chicken runners cashed in their chips and left, but they were older.
