Nice Try Denny
Liz Cheyne is a corrupt person and turned against Trump because he stated with reason that her father as major shareholder in Haliburtin got corrupt contracts from the US Defense Force in Iraq. If you google Haliburtin you would find that the company is rated as the fifith most corrupt company when it comes to corrupt contracts being awarded while her father was VP under Bush.
She was always part of the family benefitting from corruption in a major way and her revenge ws through a Kangaroo Court hearing where evidence was provided - but nobody waas alloweed to question witnesses to proof their allegations.
Fact is she was kicked out as a House member by the Republicans and I wish her luck for the future - that is going to be needed if an audit on corrupt activities by House members is undertaken.
By the way there were 7 members of the so-called January 6 Committee in terms of the resolution passed by the House on the issue. Of those 4 would be Democratic Party representatives and 3 Republican Party nominees. One of the Democrats would be Chairman of the Committee. Despite the resolution passed by the House Nancy Pelosi as Speaker decided to override the House decision and decided on a 5 -2 split in membership. The Republican Party objected to that decision of Pelosi - but despite that they submitted officially their two nominees. Pelosi then refused to allow the Republican Party nominees and she nominated her own Republican Party nominees and thus created the circus called the January 6 Committee and the Committee itself became a political witch-hunt. The fact is that until February 2021 Cheyne was the third-highest ranked Republican member of the House and she was then kicked out and replaced by a House member from New York. Since then Cheyne had no standing in the Republican Party at all and she was basically ignored by the Party she was supposed to represent. The other "representative" of the Republican Party on the January 6 Committee was also a disgruntled member with no hope of being re-elected as a Republican Party candidate in the 2022 election.
The above being the case of the 7 members of the Committee in the 2022 election -
* one lost her seat because of the loss of the Democratic Party in her House district beaten by the Republicans;
* Cheyne got only 30% of the vote in Wyoming and was defeated by another Republican Party candidate; and
* the other Republican party member of the January 6 Committee did not stand for election in the Republican Primary in Illinois and his House membership will cease on 2 January 2023.
The question remains who represented the Republican Party in that Committee? The two appointees by Pelosi did not represent anybody other than themselves and Pelosi on the Committee. They knew they would be dead politically after the 2022 midterm election and did not care what they do in an effort to undermine their Party they were supposed to represent.
