I had the opportunity to talk with him a few times, a very decent man.....shot down in WW2. If you are looking for a service man in public office, he is a better choice. And despite his one term, he was a fine president who played the Kuwait war exactly right, as history has shown.

The Bushes look to be globalist scumbags to me. These rats have been destroying America from roughly 1970 apart from Reagan. Note how anti Trump the Bush family has been - part of the Globalist uni party that has sold out America!

There are 2 teams, nothing in between.
The good guys, and the other guys (The globalist conspiracy). It appears the Bushes were part of the conspiracy.

"There are 2 teams, nothing in between."

Correct, did you not watch Star Wars? The Dark Side is very devious.

I don't know if the Bus hes are Dark Side, but they did coin the "A New World Order" phrase.

The new Star Wars has grey areas, not just white or black.

94 year old man that has passed away. It happens. People always have these bleeding hearts for people they have never met (apart from Mozter in this case) when they pass away . I just don't understand it. RIP and all that, but quite honestly, if it was possible for something to make less than 0% difference to my life, this would be it.

Yes, I remember when Moffie and his Gimps were demanding that we all drop to our knees and pay respects to some Thai billionaire football club owner that none of them had ever heard of before his death . . . yet these were the same stinking hypocrites who slagged off John McCain after his death.

Seems we all have to be respectful and reverent if the person who died is someone that Moffie and the Gimps like but it's fine to slag off the dead if it's someone they didn't like.

Oh well, at least this one is in the right section. I think RIPs in the rugby section should be for rugby players and people associated with rugby.

As usual, Baboon-ou doesn't have the cerebral capacity to understand what's being said.
Hey Baboon-ou, there's a much simpler question for you on this thread that you're dodging in your usual cowardly fashion . . . have you ever visited the Ark Encounter and if not, are you planning to? Sounds like something you'd enjoy.

Bloo....Bush was intimately involved in two major events, the fall of the Berlin wall, and the Kuwait war. Not trivial. No tears, those are for his family and close friends, 94 years is a good innings.

Moz, I don't discount his achievements at all. That is not the point of my comment. I just cannot comprehend why people can be so saddened by the death of a person they have never known or even met, that they can actually be brought to tears. I remember so clearly, as I think most of us do, when Diana died. The whole world seemed to be in mourning. At the time, as a 15 year old, I started to get wrapped up in the whole affair, but then the stark realization suddenly struck that I just didn't give a shit. I remember the moment when it occurred to me that people I have never met die all the time, and I have no reason to feel sad for them, so what made her so special?
Maybe it is just me, but I am seldom awestruck by a person. Great or successful people are still just people. Most of them, though not all, have just had a massive helping of luck, be it in the form of genetics, history, looks (in the case of actors), or literally just being in the right place at the right time (as is the case for most successful bands). So ultimately I don't care much for such people. I care about those I care about, for them I'll feel sad if they pass, for the rest, I can't really be bothered.
Seeing as though I have gone so far off on a tangent already, I may as well carry on. I honestly revere people like David Attenborough, William Shakespeare, Stephen Fry, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Albert Einstein, Elon Musk, the great composers etc etc . Sports stars, actors, business moguls, presidents and so on, seldom impress me. Now I know Elon Musk is a business mogul, but he is also an eccentric genius, and though he may be a little misguided in some of his thoughts, I do believe he will ultimately contribute largely to the well being humanity.
