The results are as follows:-

CDU-CSU - 208 seats

AfD - 152 seats

Socialists - 120 seats

Greens - 85 seats

Linge - 65 seats

The total membership is 630 seats - so a coalition Government requires 315 seats. The UCD and Socialist can forma Coalition Government - but there is another problem - th Bavarian Branch of the CDU - known as CSU has 46 members and they are not going to make such a coalition easier abd will oppose every leftwing policy of the Socialists being a NO-NO = any partnership with the Socialist ill require the Socialists voting with the CDU will require total abolishing of ultra-leftist policies of the Socialists and would lead to a weak government again.

Anything the Greens voe for will be rejected by the CSU and that would damege the latte Party badly and cause a rebellion of the CDU against the CSU and will damage the CSUCDU alliance badky, Germany' GD P hs been going diwn for 3 years running and any continuation of the Ukraine War is going to sink the new Coalition with the CSU goig the sme way as the prent coalition goes, The War feeds inmflation and continuation will destroy the CSU as badly as the present coallition suiffered. The previous Bundestag had he folloing members in the Bundenstag

Socalists . 206 seats - now 145 seats

Greens 118 seats - now 85 seats

FDP 91 seats - now 0 seats

ny coalition with the Greens would do the same damage to the CSU as badly as the present coalition did - with the Socialist did with teh Socialists losing 51 seats and the Free Democats all their 91 seats, Nobody in Germany bar the Greens wants a war against Russia as that will further desroy the German Economy and especially industries more than it has already doe iro the Ukraine War is doing at present,

Merz will have to reach a dea with Trump on the Ukraine Issue and that wil lead to vist Washington by Mez sooner rathr than later,

I see the Conservative Libertarian AFD doubled their vote to reach 20..8 percent of the vote. A great achievement.

You are right Mike any coalition Metz forms with the socialists is fraught with difficulties

Alice Weidel thinks Metz will mess up and not last the next 4 years. The AFD if the Co tinue to grow like they are doing will win the next time round.

Poor old Sharktwit thinks anybody who is not a screaming far left loon is a Nazi/Hitler. The abject clown doesn't even know that the Nazis were a Socialist party. BWAHAHAHAHAHA. Hilarious nonsense from the buffoon!
