In the State elections in Thuringia Saxony the ruling calito in Germay got the following voting percentages in the election:-

The next State election in Germany is in Brandenburg later this month and even worse results for the present coaition Government are expected.
The main problem for the rulng coalition parties are the war in Ukraine and that is going to cause collapse of the Federal Government sooner rather than later. It is unlikely that the CDU and their Bavarian branch will provide any further aid to Ukraine.
And the CDU will need a coalition partner to govern nd the Socialists and greens would be of no value. like was he case in the past, Looking at the above results the BSW is exteme leftist with communist elements in their agenda and unlike Maron - the CDU will have nothing to do with them - while the Lef is the successor to the East German Communist Party - another no-no for the CD U as coalition partner,
