What about them importing EVs from China then trying to clamp down on the own internal combustion cars they export to China.

Moz pointed out years ago that the closure of the Nuclear plants and the adoption of EVs was massively negative for Germany. EVs nullify Germany’s huge machine shop auto industry.

That’s for the future, the current recession has more to do with global inflation,
