Years with the most most Major hurricanes since 1851: 1950...8 2005...7 1999...6 1996....6 1964....6 1961....6 1955...6 1926....6. Bear in mind that prior to 1964 the carbon dioxide increase was very small. So it's possible that 3 hurricane seasons 96, 99 and 2005 were somewhat effected by man. The rest, not really. In all this hysteria it's always best to look at the big data raw. So many more monitors are now tracking these systems, we are getting more tail end reads blown into news headlines.
