Must be he coldest winter we had in this area in the past 75 years.  I have muscle ache because of the cold weather all over my body and try to sleep last night and  a m sitting here in my hottest clothes added to which I wrapped  a duvet around me and am still cold.

Wonder where I could contact that girl in Sweden - I want to ask her with her comprehensive scientific knowledge when the next ice age is going to start.

You know there is one thing on TV  it is tennis,   Since middle May the tennis was played in Spain Italy. France, Germany, England and this week in Sweden and Switzerland.   All the time the people seems t be wearing winter clothes and even players use track suit tops when they walk out to meet the umpires,   They get rid of the tops before he match started.  The spectators sems to wear winter type of jerseys and hot clothes.   There were also regular interruption of matches due to rain.

Where in Europe is the heat wave?

Stav, I think you're wasting your time. Ou Maaik didn't have the basic intelligence to understand what I posted a few weeks ago - that the average mean tempertaure of the planet was hotter than it's ever been since we started recording these things - and he decided it was a propaganda hoax by CNN. When I put up links to the exact same story from various news and science agencies he slunk away like the cowardly low-life he is . . . but here he is again saying "what heat wave"?

You're wasting your time trying to explain anything to this imbecile. Too stupid to understand, too cowardly to argue actual points and too stubborn to ever change his mind on anything.

Hahahahahaha. What a pair of imbeciles ou stavASS and Rooitwit make.

Thankfully one climate expert after another is blowing up the man made climate change hoax. The most deadly hoax in history.

A proposed symptom of climate change is more extreme weather fluctuations (e.g. cold days and hot days - more extreme rain and wind etc.) - rather than sticking to the average.

This July has been about 3 times windier than the average is for this time of the year.
I have never seen July in the UK this windy before.

My observation does not prove or disprove global warming,
however, scientists within this field believe their research proves global warming beyond any reasonable doubt.

I would rather be safe than sorry by improving green energy.

Plus, natural assets are running out - so it makes sense to transition to green over time (without damaging the economy). Instead, start investing now and gradually phasing out fossil fuel rather than leaving it too late.

However, the only way the whole world would move to green energy is if it were cheaper than fossil fuel - which is currently not the case in many situations.

Once cars and mechanics are all electrical, this will reduce dependency on fossil fuels a lot.

Yup. Me too. The worst that can happen is we clean up the planet a bit.

There will always be hot spots and cold spots, often extremes. But how much did we hear about the coldest temperature ever in China vs warm weather in Europe. So far the maximum increase that can be attributed to man made CO2 is 0.7 degrees and then only if the natural warming that has occurred since the Little Ice Age stopped dead in 1940.

I’m in favor of conserving oil for future generations….but we won’t do it with windmills and electric cars.

Nuclear is the answer and we continue to use 1950’s nuclear technology while refusing to build new, much safer plants. The response to this perceived threat has no prospect of success.

African countries, China and India are the main offenders that contribute to the global warming issues.

How do you get them to change their way of living, cooking and heating when most of the population lives and exist in poverty.

The western nations can make all cars EV's compliant and solar power for homes but it wll not change a thing world wide until you get the main offenders to buy into and introduce the changes required.

The reason it has not been introduced in these areas around the globe is simply a case of Politics because to enforce these measures to meet the suggested levels would be political suicide to the folks in power.

Perhaps plugging Joe's butt could be a starting point for all you tree huggers.

African countries

No they are not. Think South Afric a is the worst offender but its down around 14th place in CO 2 emissions.

China is by far the biggest current contributor but when you factor in historical CO2 emissions they are still quite far behind the US

The US is in 2nd place. India 3rd. Russia 4th Japan 5th.

The US contributes nearly double the amount of CO2 India does.

India contributes slightly more than the EU does, but if you take Europe as a whole and not just the EU then Europe does contribute more CO2 that India does.

When I went to Europe for six months in 1973 I was in Athens for three weeks (ie in July) for a few days there was a very hot days due to a wind coming from the south - ie from the Sahara desert - it is a normal situation every year and is the cause of areas near to the Mediterranean to get heat periods for a few days and then to return to normal summer weather conditions.

After three weeks  in Greece I went to Istanbul where   the weather was rather cool.    Personal experience  make me believe that these conditions are normal and not really related to global warming.

Stav

I saw the Irish Government wants to commit suicide by their attack on the cow popuation in Ireland.   The Dutch Government tried a similar stunt and now they are without a Government after being jeopardized in  local elections taking place in the Netherlands and they lost so much support that the Government was forced to resign and now elections are scheduled is to be held in November.   Any Government attacking food supply sources of people would always commit suicide and ends up on the dust heap of history.
