The concept of democracy is that people are free  to think and express their own ideas,   A  serious calamity like Covid raised its head in the world is something entirely new,    A virus developed  and is spread worldwide.    How does something like that  develop for the first time in human history -  previous epidemics like the Black Death did not develop out of the blue - it was always present in nature and  their were outbreaks in the world  before and  after the  Black Death - the same can be said about other plagues and when a new virus came to the fore, in a dictatorship like China  they claim it came from bats,   Why now after millions of years of bats being around.    It all turned out to come allegedly from a wetmarket in Wuhan where only fish was sold.  

When scientists  claimed the origin was in fact a laboratory in Wuhan where virus experiments were conducted  they are condemned as being against science  and this virus turned out into a situation where freedom of people is being destroyed by dictatorial regulation by government/   If anybody query anything relating to the virus and the conduct of Governments in dealing with it - such a person is condemned  by some freaks like you if being unscientific  and the source of the problem is religion.    

The issue of global  warming  caused by humans have been around for  about   50 years and not a single doomsday forecast made in that period has materialized  - but it became a new weapon in  the hand  of  Government to oppress people.

I am lucky - I am too old to live long enough  to see the final destruction of democracy in the world - the present measures are enough to make many people wonder whether life is worthwhile under the present conditions we live under     Much worse is coming.

Societies function best when they're made up of people who share the same values, beliefs, culture and traditions. I don't get this push for a global community and open borders as if it's something positive. It's madness, an open invitation to endless conflict.

In America, it is clear that the uneducated working-class white people are not on the same page as middle class educated white people. (or educated or/and middle-class people from all other races). 

The educated rely on science and logic to help make sense of the world, where the dummies like CleverMike rely on their pastor (who is just trying to make them scared so they are dependent on religion- or is also bribed by corporates to push their agenda like dirty energy). 

Fortunately in the UK, those that have not had the benefits of tertiary education - still have the common sense to work out that the vaccine makes you safer, and anyone you interact with. 

Many people do not get a tertiary education, and are just naturally smart - so it is easy for them to work out that the vaccine is a better option than waiting to get infected by Covid.

@Draad, The UK and EU are smart enough to produce a vaccine within a short space of time. 
The majority of people in the UK support vaccine passports, so it is a no brainer. This will be the case with many EU countries, who are not famous countries for communist or dictatorship rule - at least since world war 2. 

The expectation is of course that the passports are temporary until Covid has been defeated. 

The government already have peoples birth certificates, which are later used as the basis of other ID like a passport, drivers ID, work ID etc, so it is not as if the government do not already know who people are.
What harm will a temporary vaccine passport have to allow admission to indoor gatherings? 

Even conservatives in the EU agree by the majority that the vaccine is the way forward- so having a conservative government in Western Europe is fine because they embrace science. And no they are not Communist just because they do not agree with your simplistic reality. 

Thinking a mechanic knows a lot about cars is not being brainwashed, it's common sense especially when the proof is provided.
