The Democratic Party has provided a home for African Americans, the Jewish community and Latinos. But there was always an overarching mission….growing the party. This was perhaps the first election where all of those communities or parts of them realized they weren’t the priority.

Here’s a piece by long time Democrat and eminent Hedge Fund executive Bill Ackman that discusses the path to disillusionment: :

…………… .

Bill Ackman: a longtime democrat, who quit the party this last year, largely due to antisemitism, among other factors, wrote the below on X before the election results came in.

The sources of truth argument, and his firm view we are being manipulated by the media, are bang on.

Roger Ailes created a monster with Fox which printed money selling whatever their audience was buying.

In doing so they traded truth for profit and created a template for others who are equally guilty.

——

If the election outcome is as I expected, it should cause the large minority of the country who supported @KamalaHarris and predicted her victory to begin to question their sources of truth.

Half the country has believed that @X is filled with mis- and disinformation, and that they could only therefore rely on The NY Times, MSNBC, CNN and other mainstream media for their news. And they did.

If, however, you have been active on @X for the last year, you have known the truth days, weeks and often months before the facts appear in the MSM.

The MSM excerpted, clipped and cut to defame @realDonaldTrump while claiming that @JoeBiden was fit as a fiddle. Then when Biden’s polls collapsed, @KamalaHarris was anointed the candidate and her hagiography was written with glowing acclaim from the press. But this could not hold as she ducked the media and held fast to the teleprompter.

Citizen journalists with their phone cameras in hand captured the real Kamala forcing her to defend her record and her plans in more media appearances. It did not go well and the public demanded to learn more so @KamalaHarris had to risk more unscripted media.

The doom loop was underway with perhaps 60 Minutes as one of the more dramatic examples, even after CBS tried to save her, most glaringly by excerpting one answer to replace a word salad response to another. But the citizen journalists on @X quickly caught and outed this fraud and demanded a transcript.

As many who supported Kamala began to realize that they have been misled, they became open to Trump as an alternative, but they didn’t want to rely on the media to understand him because they did not want to be misled again.

They wanted to hear the candidate in his own words and that is where @lexfridman and @joeroganhq long form podcasts came to the rescue. When Kamala was offered the same opportunities to explain herself, she rejected them. And the voting public could only draw a negative inference.

When the story of this election is written, I expect it will be as much about how half of America woke up to the reality that they have been manipulated by the media. This should lead to an abandonment by many of the MSM as their primary source of information. It will push more people to @X, to podcasts and other empirical sources, and it will lead to a more informed public.

The other outcome I hope happens is the implosion of the Democratic Party. The Party lied to the American people about the cognitive health and fitness of the president. It prevented, threatened, litigated and otherwise eliminated the ability of other candidates for the primary to compete, to get on ballots, and to even participate in a debate. The Party and the administration used lawfare in an attempt to imprison, bankrupt or otherwise kill off Trump as a candidate. These acts are collectively grave threats to our democracy. With the highest irony in order to hide these acts, the Party accused the opposition candidate of being the grave threat to democracy.

The Democratic Party proved itself to be fundamentally undemocratic. It needs a complete reboot. The leadership should be thrown out and those responsible should apologize to the American people.

Honest Abe said it best:

You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.

The moment when Kamala proved she was not qualified to be president was when she was asked by a journalist if she would do anything different to what Biden did. She said, no - nothing comes to mind...

Joe Biden was a corpse who should have stepped down and allowed a primary.
Buttigieg is a very strong communicator with the media. Gretchen would have been a stronger female candidate or VP for Newson etc.

The left-wing needs to have an economic plan and put less focus on pushing social values - which are subjective and change over time anyway. With so much focus on minority groups, it seems the majority is being penalised.

Let's say that:
1. Joe Blogs has an IQ of 90.
2. A minority person has an IQ of 100.

Joe Blogs gets an advantage from being part of the mainstream.
However, the minority person gets a D&I advantage.

So, their IQ difference + D&I advantage puts them ahead of Joe Blogs instead of being the same (if that was the original intention).

Simple answer is that Joe Blundering Biden and Knees Harris got in over their heads from day one and had no clue on what to do put misuse their power to institute stupid regulations and cancel all of Trumps projects and working border plans.

Two twits at the controls of a sinking ship filled with idiots.

Yeah, have to agree

And her refusal to go on the Joe Rogan podcast sent a very unsavoury message to the younger voters

"Jan 6 ..................... you can't instigate such chaos & mayhem & walk away scot free"

He has never been found guilty of this, so he should be able to just walk away from it.

He had a charge of "incitement of insurrection", put agianst him, but he was aquitted, although some believed he was still morally responsible.

So Jan 6 was an "insurrection " while any protests and burning down of government buildings by BLM/Antifa will be peaceful, right?
Now where have we seen this movie before?

Nice strawman.

January 6th was incited by the then sitting President of the the United States by his repeated and false claims of election fraud in the 2020 election and had the goal of overturning the legitimate outcome of the that election.

When it comes to BLM the majority of their actions have been peaceful, but they have crossed the line into looting, arson and violence several times . But those acts where not incited by democrats politicians, those actions where in fact condemned by them.

Violent acts by antifa have likewise been condemned by democratic politicians like Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi.

The problem is that the DP is not a real Political Party in the true sense of he word - it is a conglomeration of inerest groups using he pary to enhance their owna interests without any real policies at all.

The strongest component of the Pary used to be the working class people and the Blacks and Hispanics,   The DP leadership thought if they ave the support of the  Trade Union ledership - they wll have the support of thw oking class people.    Howeever, the Party had o iterests in protecting the working class people.   Durig the Reagen years the working class were looked after well by the Repblican Party and when succeding goerning parties neglected thir interess and tha inclued the Bden regimes  - the started leaving the Party.

The Party more and more cocetrated on interest groups and especially their own political ideologies,   The exodus of prominent party members like Trump hisef started years ago.   and progressively got orse ud Biden.

The 2016 election of Trump - an ex-Democrat imself progessively got worse.   Unde Obama and made worse by Biden the Party used the Hispanics and Blacks as their voiing base and alienate the working class. people further.   When the Hispanics realized that they are being used by the DP at electio times and neglected by them . ouside of elecion times,   their support of the DP started dwindeling as well.

Since the Obama era the situation i that he iealogical left took over the Party ad impose their policies on th Pary as a whole,   Leftist ideology is not really linked to issues that  used to be the core of the Party - namely to serve the working class and minority voters.   In tis lection the key questiion asked was "are you better off now than you were four years ago" and the anser was clear and very precise.   The vast majority of the oters answered tehy were wose off.

The leftist and far-leftists have their own ideology  - which have zero to with voter inerests and that is where the Party is at this stage.   Fruitless and unrealistic money spending and endless regulations caused inflation and he workin class and minooies became the main sufferers,

Trump as a busineesman kneew how to deal with issues affecing wirker inerests - which neve was the case with the leftists ideology and it is nt surprising that the working class urned on teh DP in tis election and the working class will reamain ith the Republicans for the foreseeable futre - the DP under Biden cause them  to tur away from the Democrats and in 2028 Vance ill be a shoo-in in e elcction dspit te medi hystreria.   abourt racism and oher isues.    around many Blacks did not vote or voted for the Republicns in increasing numbrs and they learned a bite lesson.

In a way it was the same thing that happened in the Municipal elections in SA and the national elections this year.    The Blacks styed away fom voig for the ANC and ext time aroud unless thigs improve - they would not vote for the ANC and the  ANC  will just vanish ino a party with no real support.   The DA has taken ove the Energy and Agriculture Departments and load shedding has vanished  from sight as an example.    the engatives that impeded agricultral food production has beens topped and his year their will be bumper harvests and ood price increases will stall.    To stop incoherent  fruitless and corrupt spendin of money the DA also has cotro over ducation and a Deputy MInister of finance and after six monhs the servoce delivey alread started improvement.   The ac is that there are alsready posiive consequences noticeable,   Fact is that the DA has become the Pary supported and run by the Coloreds and Indician secor of the population      That is why despite media propaganda supportd Trump ad not the DP in the USA despite media hysteria to the contrary.

If the DP wish to stay in existence as a political pary of relevance in the USA and not an elitist Party controled by the elitsit ad the wealthy - they will have to move away from leftist idealogy and becomes the cneter-left Pary that was important to the workerg clssss majority of the voters of al races.   The signs ar they ave not yet learned the bitter lesson yet and if the Party continues like hey did and drive people like Trump, Knnedy and Musk rom the DP the preset stream f oters supprting them will turn into a flood in 2026 and 2028.

There are priorities - not only financial - but also a return to stricter law enforcement and getting  rid of the flood of migrantsms into the USA cioostig the fiscus  hudreds f billions a year,    That is why 62% of the voters in opinion polls support the  idea to sent abck the millions of people i the USA put at 11 million at least at present in the USA t their countries of oigin all over he world.    For istance Trump picke the candidates in Senate elections and the House and Senate candidates that won in House and Senate races and most of the won in the election,    Thea re slowly getting rid of corrupt elements i the DP who were career politicians as well.    Two examples are whaat happened to the DP Senators in Montana and Ohio.   Othrs like Graham and McConnell is on the way out,   Bith were riends of Biden and helped to enhnce his programs..  McConnell  has already been  forced o resign as R leader in teh Sante and reigned thsi year,   as leader o he RP in the Senate.   A younge and more consevtive leade would be elected by the Repblican Senators - especialy a younge and less ideological leade will no doubt be picked,    Whomsoever si pcied will have he suppor of the majority of voters in the USA and even some DP Senators that is beginning to realize they are o the y to destruction by supporting the ukta-leftist ideologies of he Biden Administration.

If the DP wans to remain as a major Party .in he USA - they will have to move to the \slightly left of center the Party used to be and away from ultra-left policies accepted by the elite and media to the center of US poltics supporting the majority of the voters.    Either that or the voters will move to he centrist and more business-orienated Republicans and leave the DP in increasing numbers.     Trump will move quickly over he next two years to improve the working class people/s lot and by 2026 the RP will win more Senate seats and get rid of career politicians and get younger candidates wirh experience as candidates.  If he succeeds in that the DP will suffer  more losses.

The story about the RP being a party of  consisting of deplorables and  garbage must be stopped and the story of dictatorship will have no appeal to the rdinary working class people sinc it is based on nothing but media propaganda.    Trump willa dhere to he Constitution and not odo hings that will be unconstitutional and dictatorial - like Biden did regularly while he was Presidnt and stopped repeaedly by  the Supreme Court Court..    Th Reublicans - basically a centrist party will remain a cetrist party and to get more votes he DP  will have to move to the center as well so as o compete or votes on a centrist competitive basis..    There are already DP House members especially who realize what has ahppened to the elittist approach of the DP and they are going to ind them more and more voting with the RP's in cases and may een eave the DP nd join the RP over the next two years.

I listened carefully to people like te above one said why they left the DP - but he is not alone in  that - there are thousands of other leading peple that is going the same  and for the same reasons.  Remember Trump was one of the first Democrats to realize what the DP and eleemnts of the RP were doing to the people and that is why he over the eyars got mor and more support from working class people.   Now we have Robert Kennedy and people like Musk joining him and supporting him.    Many of the rich realize they are under threat and is now supporting the RP financially.

By h way - Mozart - is it true the share process on the Walll Street Stock Exchange went up drastically when the election of Trump became clear while losses on companie invovled in the green field went down?.

Stav

January 6 was propaganda BS and nothing else.   What was not propaganda was he neglect of the working class  people by Biden and the Democrats and that is what conts teh D P and their eladership dearly in the election.

The story about dictatorship is BS as well.   Trump is not stupid - he realiz ha to act unconstitutional  like the Biden Regime did in many cases is suicidal in the end and the voters will not accept it.    Whenever Biden tried those stunts the Courts rejectd it.

That was part f the reason why Trump won he election ad turend states like new Jersey and New york into marginal battleground States of the future.    Biden won the Stae New Jersey with a majority of 16%.   In his it is don to 4%/   Biden wn New York in 2020 by 22% - it is down to 5% this year,

Prpaganda BS like Russian Collusion and January 6 is not counting with th voters - what is is what they feel in their pocket every month whe they do not have enough money for heir basis needs.    Unles the DP stop idelogical policies nd foreign wars costing  the taxpayers triillion of dollars the DP as a party willself-destruct.

The ted is the same in oher Democracies worldwide and he voters are turned away from far-leftits ideology ike the Greens in Europe - the parties supporting leftist BS are doomed,     It is ahppening in Germany as an example.   The have an election next year in which he Greens and te Federal Parties at present in the coaition governing Germanywillbe lucky to get 20% of the vote.      .   .          .

Lol Trump tells people to drink bleach and attempts an insurrection via an unarmed group of regular civilians with no military training. The shit you have to believe to bend reality to the the perspective of a TDS suffering lefty. I can see the headlines now... "Unarmed militia overthrow US government - military overrun"
