Hollywood is a swamp just like the elites in Washington D.C. They will do anything to protect their own with help from the media. Truly disgusting.
As previously reported, embattled Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein is the subject of a devastating expose detailing decades of sexual harassment. So far the Hollywood elites have yet to condemn serial predator Harvey Weinstein.

Weinstein is also one of Hillary Clinton’s biggest donors, having raised mega bucks for the failed Democrat presidential candidate.

Hollywood literally worshipped Weinstein. Gross.

In March 2012 Hollywood actress Meryl Streep praised serial predator Harvey Weinstein as “god” at the Golden Globes.
The audience loved it.

Last Thursday, The New York Times blew the roof off of the decades long ‘open secret’ in Hollywood that Harvey Weinstein was essentially a sexual predator who preyed on young starlets. Weinstein reportedly paid off several sexual harassment accusers over the years.

An investigation by The New York Times found previously undisclosed allegations against Mr. Weinstein stretching over nearly three decades, documented through interviews with current and former employees and film industry workers, as well as legal records, emails and internal documents from the businesses he has run, Miramax and the Weinstein Company.

During that time, after being confronted with allegations including sexual harassment and unwanted physical contact, Mr. Weinstein has reached at least eight settlements with women, according to two company officials speaking on the condition of anonymity.

So how did this sexual abuse go on and on seemingly out in the open without reporters chomping at the bit to publish the story?

It turns out that Weinstein has media enablers as well.

The New York Times had the story all the way back in 2004 and squashed it after Weinstein himself appeared at the NYT headquarters and muscled the paper into silence.

Sharon Waxman is the founder of The Wrap and a former New York Times reporter. She said she “gagged” when she read Jim Rutenberg’s sanctimonious piece on Saturday about the “media enablers” who kept this story from the public for decades.

Waxman wrote about having the Weinstein scoop when she was a new reporter at the New York Times back in 2004 but after Weinstein, Matt Damon and Russel Crowe pressured her to stop her hit piece, the story was gutted.

Via The Wrap:

In 2004, I was still a fairly new reporter at The New York Times when I got the green light to look into oft-repeated allegations of sexual misconduct by Weinstein. It was believed that many occurred in Europe during festivals and other business trips there.

I also tracked down a woman in London who had been paid off after an unwanted sexual encounter with Weinstein. She was terrified to speak because of her non-disclosure agreement, but at least we had evidence of a pay-off.

The story I reported never ran.

After intense pressure from Weinstein, which included having Matt Damon and Russell Crowe call me directly to vouch for Lombardo and unknown discussions well above my head at the Times, the story was gutted.

I was told at the time that Weinstein had visited the newsroom in person to make his displeasure known. I knew he was a major advertiser in the Times, and that he was a powerful person overall.

But I had the facts, and this was the Times. Right?

Wrong. The story was stripped of any reference to sexual favors or coercion and buried on the inside of the Culture section, an obscure story about Miramax firing an Italian executive. Who cared?

The Times’ then-culture editor Jon Landman, now an editor-at-large for Bloomberg, thought the story was unimportant, asking me why it mattered.

Read Waxman’s full story at The Wrap here.

Hollywood is a swamp just like the elites in Washington D.C. They will do anything to protect their own with help from the media. Truly disgusting.

Where are all the accusers re the so called Trump assaults. One would imagine the demonrats would give millions of dollars to support any such case in a court of law as it could lead to impeachment. But there are none. Just like after a years of the MSM mouthing of 24/7 on Russia there is zero evidence of any Russian collusion with Trum*p although there is now hard evidence of a massive treasonous collusion with Clinton Obummer etc with Russia.
Whereas Harvey Weinstein will go to jail because the evidence will support a conviction Trum*p will not and the elite globalist media and all the resources of the deep state can find nothing to pin on him.
Trump just keeps on winning and the corrupt globalist open borders globalist scumbags keep losing. Wonderful times!
The big joke is that gullible clowns like you lot are still floundering even at this late stage.
Finally great news in Austria were anti immigration parties have had a huge win. The Cezch Trump is expected to win big later this month. The globalists are freaking out as their plans to flood Europe with muslims is collapsing as the people wake up to who they are.    Trump win win in 2020 by a landslide. The demorats are collapsing under the weight of thier massive corruption in the Obummer years, Hollywood is totally discredited and recognised as a rapist/pedophile, crack snorting bunch of anti American globalsit radicals. The NFL and globalist MSM is tanking. Alternate news has taken over. EG CNN gets 700,000 views a night re their news coverage.  Fox gets more than CNN and MSNBC combined!! Drudge gets over 10 billion views a month. Breitbart News 247 million views - the BBC website gets 8 million - Info Wars is bigger. Further, because of the digital age money no longer plays such a great role. Populist Judge Moore won in Alabama with 2 million dollars raised against 32 million by his globalis t opponent. So the globalist corporates are loosing control. How will they fight back one wonders.
Best all the globalist dupes here just zip it and try to wise up. Bwahahahahahahahhahahahaha

Hasbeen there is a huge difference between bad behaviour and illegal behaviour. If you listen to Fox you would assume a raft of court cases are imminent. I’m not persuaded that’s the case much as I would like to see the unmaskers and other political manipultors in a court of law.

Where are all the accusers re the so called [removed] assaults. One would imagine the demonrats would give millions of dollars to support any such case in a court of law as it could lead to impeachment. But there are none.
Actually not quite correct there

President Trump is subpoenaed by former Apprentice contestant over sexual misconduct allegations
  • Summer Zervos subpoenaed Trump for all of the documents from his campaign about every woman who accused him of inappropriate sexual behavior
  • The former contestant on The Apprentice filed the document in March as part of her defamation lawsuit against Trump for accusing her and others of lying
  • The president's attorneys have been working to get her lawsuit dismissed or even delayed until he leaves office
  • The president's attorneys have until October 31 to respond to Zervos' subpoena
  • The White House nor Trump has not commented on the filing...

The subpoena could cover more than just Zervos’s case

As part of the defamation suit, Zervos’s lawyers issued a subpoena seeking a variety of documents from the Trump campaign. The subpoena became part of the court file last month, and did not become public until Sunday, when Jessica Garrison and Kendall Taggart of BuzzFeed News reported on it. Zervos’s legal team, which includes Gloria Allred, famous for representing women in high-profile harassment or assault cases, are seeking all documents concerning Zervos and John Barry, but also those concerning Jessica Leeds, Natasha Stoynoff, and seven other women who have accused Trump of misconduct, as well as documents on “any woman alleging that Donald J. Trump touched her inappropriately.”

As Garrison and Taggart report, Trump’s lawyers are trying to have Zervos’s suit dismissed. In July, they argued that the suit was “engineered for political purposes” and that it was part of a plan by Allred to get the president impeached. Trump’s legal team also argues that the president is immune from civil suits in state courts.

As Michael Rios reports at PBS, presidents can be sued in federal court for their actions as private citizens — this was established in Paula Jones’s sexual harassment suit against Bill Clinton in 1997. But it’s not clear whether presidents can be sued in state court, and Trump’s legal team says the suit should either be thrown out or delayed until he is no longer president. Trump’s lawyers are supposed to respond to Zervos’s latest motion by October 31, according to Garrison and Taggart.

Ultimately, the Trump team’s argument about state court may only buy them a certain amount of time, said Stephen Vladeck, a professor at the University of Texas School of Law who studies federal jurisdiction and constitutional law. Even if a judge rules that the case can’t be tried in state court, it shouldn’t be hard for Zervos to simply refile in federal court. “I don’t think they have an especially strong case to prevent this from ever getting litigated,” Vladeck said.

If the suit goes forward, it could cause serious problems for Trump. As Rios notes, if the New York court decides it can hear Zervos’s case, that would open the door for others to sue the president in state court. The case could also bring to light any campaign communications that may exist regarding the many women who have publicly accused Trump of harassment or assault, and perhaps even women who have not made public accusations yet.

Trump’s lawyers will probably try to avoid complying with the subpoena, Vladeck said. They may, for instance, argue that campaign documents are protected by executive privilege, and will probably appeal any rulings that don’t go their way. “This is going to get messier before it gets settled,” Vladeck said.

The radical globalist left live on a diet of nothingburgers! HahhahahahahaDr Moz if you think that Clinton cannot be indicted on many counts you are dead wrong if justice were the only consideration.  I still have enough faith that there are too many good people left in America to allow her to get away with it. She belongs in prison and I reckon she will get indicted tried and sent there. We shall see.
