Those people involved supporting leftist causes on site should take note about what happened in the local elections in Hong Kong over the past week.   There were 2 broad categories of parties based on the following policy principles involved, namely -


*   the pro-democracy parties; and

*   the pro-Beijing parties.


Before the election earlier thus month the pro-Beijing parties controlled all 18 local committees in Hong Kong with 304 seats as against 146 seats of the pro-democracy parties.


The results of the election indicates the following:-


*  The pro-democracy parties took control o f 17 of the 18 committees with one being controlled by the pro-Beijing group winning 8 of the 14 seats in that committee.


*   The situation is that the seat distribution now is as follows:-


           Pro-democracy parties                  -     388 seats

           Pro-Beijing parties                        -       62 seats  


Another proof that when people gets to know the real impact of Communism has on people they reject the concept totally,
