I think there are beginning to be serious problems for Cameron and his support of remaining in the EU.
There are two arguments raised by Cameron in favour of remaining in the EU and those are-
* enhancement of the security of England if they remain within the EU; and* a breakdown in the economy if they remain within the EU.
The Belgium attacks showed there is no real safeguards to prevent terrorism in Europe. The Turkish Government warned the Dutch when they extradited one of the bombers and the Belgium Government issued an International warrant of arrest of one of the others and zero came of both. How secure is Europe in reality, The terrorists are issued with fraudulent identity documents and passports and crosses borders at will. The security issue will be a joke - especially when Turks get free access to all countries in Europe.
Then there is the economy issue. Moody forcasted that the impact of the Uk leaving the EU will be minimal and that is going to weaken the pro-Europe issue even more.
The issue that I think is weakening the pro EU support is the liberal open-door policies migrants of the EU Council - not only in the UK, but also in Germany and France, but also in the smaller EU members in Central Europe.
The other issue is that part of the anti-Europe stance is the Labour Party and I think that for Cameron it will be more detrimental than imagined. The Labour Party under a Communist unwilling to sing the England anthem is a divided entity and many traditional Labour supporters will stay away from voting or even vote against the EU membership.
My Nephew from England is on holiday here and I am going to ask him what the feeling in England is. Both he and his wife are registered voters in England and it would be interesting on what they say about the general feeling in their neighbourhood and work environment. They are living in Essex in a very conservative area where the Conservative Party has huge support.
