Yes President Trump said it as a joke. 

But actually given the fact that he came to power at the point where the USA was on the brink of destruction and given the extraordinary nature of the win God's hand was in it I would say.

That neither Clinton, the two Bushes and of course the worst ever, President Obummer, never dealt with the Chinese looting of American wealth reaches the level of TREASON. 

Over recent years it's been around 500 billion dollars a year in trade and somewhere in that vicinity with regard to intellectual property. 

In addition huge trade deficits were allowed to run with Mexico and the EU.

Jobs were exported and factories closed. America lost one third of its manufacturing capacity. Wages in the USA hadn't risen in THE USA for 18 years. 

One can only understand this total disregard for the welfare of America by these Presidents if you understand the mindset of of the corporate globalist. 

A total and utter disgrace. These 4 presidents should be in jail for life if not worse. 

Putin must be incredibly powerful/influential if he managed to get Trump elected...and he hit paydirt already...bargain eksê!

President Trump slammed the media for claiming that he has a “Messiah complex” after he jokingly described himself as the “chosen one” to tackle China on trade

“When I looked up to the sky and jokingly said ‘I am the chosen one,’ at a press conference two days ago, referring to taking on Trade with China, little did I realize that the media would claim that I had a ‘Messiah complex,'” Trump tweeted Saturday.

“They knew I was kidding, being sarcastic, and just having fun. I was smiling as I looked up and around,” he continued, adding that many of the reporters were “smiling also” and “knew the TRUTH.”

“And yet when I saw the reporting, CNN, MSNBC and other Fake News outlets covered it as serious news & me thinking of myself as the Messiah,” he added.
