feeling for a total stranger whom I've met on social media. Don't even know the guys name. Wanted my thoughts on Australia as he's thinking about migrating with his family. He's obviously a white guy and for obvious reasons his deeply troubled by the direction in which South Africa is going. His main concern is if another country would accept him with a wife and offspring visually blinded. From where I'm sitting it doesn't sound like SA wants white people. In a way it reminds me of my own situation when I made the decision to leave, with not a cent to our names we had to sever ties with family and friends and start afresh on foreign soil. It's no mean feat.

I for one do admire u for making the decision to make a better life for your family. It is always difficult to make the move with family left behind and not knowing what lies ahead.
But obviously u have the best interest of your immediate family ahead of all other concerns.
I salute u for the move.

Thankfully it all worked out for u guys.

Thanks mate, we're fine, it's the likes of the stranger I bumped into that concerns me, I empathise with him, like I say he has the added concerns of family who suffer impaired vision.
