one tit surprised if Putin goosesteps his way into EU leaning Moldova.

There is a problem and a civil war in Moldovia - but I do not think Putin will tae on that issue as well. In the emantime he is waiting on Trump and the NATO contries decisions on the Ukraine War once he present mess of EU Countries trade with Russia has been cleared up. In the meanime the USA has moved troops into Poland and is using misslies to shoot down missiles and other arms used in attacks on Ukraine hrough Polish territory - but that ahs apparently stopped.

If effective sanctions against Russia can be implmented and he EU countries sabotaging it by buying Russian exports then the situation would change for the better, Action will be taken to shut down export shipping by Russia and that would lead to a further development on potential peace in Ukraine. In essense the trade with Russia by EU countries and the USA itself must stop before Putin will take sanctions as a threat to Russia. Fact is Trump has already clamed down on USA trade wih Russia - so the NATO countries in Europe will b in a stroger position tod eal with the presen war in Ukraine,

Furthermore the NATO countries bar Turkey has very poor armeis and that is why Trump forced them to increase their defense force spending to 5% of their respective GDP;s, It is still way below the 6,3% of GDP the USA sepnt on defense, but the 5% had been accepted by all NATO countries in Europe bar Spain - so only Canada and Spain are still way below when t comes to defense speding. So if the NATO countries in Europe increase their defense spending and increased the efficiency fheir armies - the NATO counries will bcome a threat to Puitn's present misconduct.
