Draad I was not trying to say anything, however, you have now inspired me.

If Draad lived in America, you would be from Alabama.

You probably know less about Alabama than the difference between your elbow and your arse.

I usually try avoid far right wing, and even far left wing BS, but thanks anyway.

What do you know about Mobile?   And if you despise far left wing BS  you should avoid CNN  and Maddow totally.

Incidentally what happened to Cruden?   I think that he was contracted by Montpellier who bought out  Goosen from his contract with Racing Metro  - paying them  something like Euro 1 500 000 and the latest news is that Montpellier contracted Pollard to play for them from next year,

Montpellier has Frans Steyn on contract as well and he sometimes played for them at flyhalf and at times until the arrival of Goosen and center until the arrival of Serfontein.   He was also used as stand-in for Goosen and  Serfontein when they were injured - but in most matches was a  failure in those two positions.   Steyn ended up playing for Montpellier at full back - but indications are that they are not renewing his contract and he is hunting around for another contract.

I have not heard about Cruden playing for them for a long time - maybe he is injured?

They want to offload Cruden to Glasgow. Pollard is his replacement. While he has been injured often, he has not played well and they are not happy with him.

I can remember a game against the Springboks in I think Johannesburg where he was  so bad he was replaced early after panicking badly and making numerous mistakes,

There is a denial from Rennie about Cruden going to Glasgow - but there is no way Montpellier will extend his contract - so he is likely o end up with Glasgow.

He crapped himself playing against Pollard.
The one try Pollard scored from the first phase, he ran flat onto the ball like Henry Honiball, and the weak Cruden was slapped off like a fly. The referee blew the whistle and called play back again, but allowed the Boks the scrum again. The Boks ran the same move again of the scrum , and this time the ref awarded the try.

Sharkbok's latest avatar does look a bit like Aaron Cruden.
LMAO!
Just to add, there were plenty of Kiwis (and South Africans) who used to talk up Aaron Cruden as being the next big thing for a number of years . . . and apparently he was going to be a lot better than Beauden Barrett.
I always stuck by my guns that Beauden was world class while Cruden was a slow, small and average flyhalf who didn't make particularly good on-field decisions.
No prizes today for guessing who got it right!

Rooinek

Not a great fan of Cruden ever.   He was exactly what was said above - too much hype and too little substance.

He was a very good Super rugby player, but unlike Barrett, he never really made the step up to international rugby.
