We were told that Bozo's press conference last night would include an "important update".

Sounded like the same old lies to me. What was the update? What was new?

Well total global stocks are worth $130 trillion…..the S&P opened down 1.2%, attributed to the speech. Assuming global markets recover to that drop (they have dropped more) that would suggest there is something in there worth $1.5 trillion.

Be that as it may, what was new in his speech? Why did they call it an "update" when he was just repeating the same old rubbish?

That's what I'm asking.

What he said that drove down the markets is America isn’t going to open up Hormuz by itself. And that the US has accomplished its goal of eroding Iran’s nuclear program and will be leaving shortly, with or without an agreement. But if there is no agreement it will take out Iran’s electrical grid on the way out.

Trump's poll ratings will continue to crater. "Many people are saying," it is the worst polls by a US president ever (including Nixon during Watergate).

At this rate, he will lose both the House and the Senate, turning him into a lame duck.

I wonder if there is talk internally within the Republican Party to try to replace Trump with JD Vance.

Usually, if an American president loses the House and Senate in their 2nd term, they allocate most of their job functions to the VP to give him experience to try to win the election. The lame duck president then focuses on international affairs and relations (Although Trump is not really good with that either).

This is what happens when people are employed without experience.

"What he said that drove down the markets is America isn’t going to open up Hormuz by itself."

But he'd already said that. You're not answering the question.

Once again, what did he say in his address that could possibly constitute an "important update"?

He'll be impeached after the midterms.

He may have said some of the things I alluded to before last night. But this was a formal speech, not speculative comments, the effect on the markets is obvious. And he won’t be impeached.

Not consulting Congress on this stupid war alone will be enough to impeach him . . . and when they do, the Epstein files that he's been holding back will come out and then you Trumpanzees are going to look even more stupid than you already do.

Well assuming the Dems weren’t so stupid as not to use a proven Epstein involvement in the last election, and assuming there is no other crime which goes to character…. Impeachment is never going to happen. The only reason it was even a possibility in the first term was the naive Russian collusion nonsense, which would have been a crime.

You are going to need 67% of the Senate and without a crime or some very significant moral revelation….it’s never going to happen.

Perhaps we aren’t stupid, just better informed…..33 more months
